The hotel met our needs, a place to sleep.
Pros:

Didn’t eat at hotel - just used room as accommodation

Cons:

Bar was too noisy & full of sports screens- you need to plan to have at least one section that is quiet and allows conversation

Pros:

Stay here for business sporadically and can say this establishment has improved since my last visit.

I was allocated a newly renovated room at the end of a corridor and this was a big improvement.

Room was clean, functional and had a minimalistic/modern feel to it.

I also note that earplugs were provided as a courtesy.

There was noise from the plumbing throughout the night.

Staff were friendly and efficient - especially the ladies at breakfast.

The bar gets very busy on a nighttime with people
watching football etc but a relaxed environment.

I did not have time to use the pool/gym.

So very sad seen this hotel built

So sad this hotel was lovely when built the ambience was fantastic now this hotel is like TJ Fridays, move away from cheadle back for a birthday party , so alway wanted to stay at the villages so sadden the bedrooms were nice but the family room was small .. my daughter and I
Had to walk up flights of stairs no one informed us the lift was Brocken ….self service breakfast didn’t like … would I stay again no

Uncomfortable night sleep. This was due to make shift double bed. Resulted in a very uncomfortable.

Usually nice, but the bed was terrible. Two single mattress put together. Was very uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel. Not luxurious but had everything you’d need for an overnight stay or longer

Cons:

It was all good although the lifts had broken down! The receptionist very kindly helped us to the 2nd floor with our heavy cases

Weekend away
Pros:

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless. It was beautiful to sit outside and enjoy their beer garden as the sun was shining. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends

the room itself is well laid out and has great facilities and space.
