The staff were brilliant
The accommodation was dirty, noisy ,and the hotel was very expensive compared to say a premier inn or Holidsy inn which both operate to an exacting band consistent standard .This Village inn was very very disappointing .Their only saving grace were the faultless staff
Easy access, friendly staff, helpful staff
I had a couple of problems - blinds fell off the window . Moved rooms. Heating did not work . Staff so helpful to resolve
Everything the staff were great x it’s my favourite hotel x bit noisy our last night in room over head and drilling but other than that it’s perfect x
Everything x
Our second visit to the Village Hotel in Cheadle and we cannot thank the incredible team there enough. During our stay, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed. A great atmosphere, a fantastic room and a very special birthday surprise in our room on arrival for our youngest little boy.
Raj also went out of his way to send a cuddly toy we left, all the way back to South Wales! Fantastic service, always.
Thank you so much Village Hotel Cheadle, team 🫶🏻
We have stayed here several times and always been pleased. This time there was an issue with our room. I went down to reception to discuss it and the 2 staff members, Melissa and Rahat were fantastic. They were so helpful and professional. Resolved my issue immediately, so I was very happy. When Melissa mentioned that it was her first week in the role I was stunned. She felt like a seasoned professional and is most definitely an asset to the team!
Staff were lovely, they couldnt do any more to help & nothing was a bother
Lifts werent working so had to use the stairs all the time
Meal in restuarant wasnt great for the money
Some vending machines selling essentials would be appreciated and maybe some snack for when bar closes
Mcenenzie the guy on reception was the best thing about the hotel
Filthy china and cutlery, dirty machines,
Very noisy rooms with planes flying most of the night. We left the property in the evening and didn’t return 😞
the staff were lovely and very welcoming and it was a nice environment to be in, a lot to do also.
On first impression, this is an impressive place: good location, friendly staff, comfy public areas. But it was downhill all the way from there.
My room lacked certain basic amenities: a safe, a fridge, a phone to call reception, a plug that fitted the bathroom basin... It was also very noisy: the hotel faces onto a busy road and lies under a flightpath to Manchester Airport - and you can hear everything, thanks to the lack of double-glazing.
However the room did come with an unexpected extra: the previous occupant's underwear. Reception apologised and sent housekeeping up to remove it.
On the second hight, however, I couldn't get into the room at all. Several trips between reception and the room with recharged electronic keys failed to get me in, so I sat in a side lounge for an hour while the receptionist and then a night manager tried multiple times to do likewise. Finally they admitted defeat and gave me another room. By the morning, the lock was working, so I was finally able to change my clothes and take my medications.
However, at no stage did they offer me a discount or refund for my inconvenience and their sloppy housekeeping. When I asked if there would be any, the receptionist said he would check with his superiors and email me later that day (I gave him my email address just in case). That was seven days ago and, despite a follow-up email from me, I have heard nothing from the hotel.
Things will occasionally go wrong even in the best run establishments. It is how they deal with setbacks that you see a business's true worth: a quality hotel would have offered me a drink while I was waiting, shut out of my room. They would have automatically given a discount or refund for my troubles without having to be asked. And above all, they would have emailed and answered my emails promptly.
This hotel did none of these things.
I shall not be returning. I advise you not to as well.
Everything! Staff are very friendly. Room comfortable and clean. Bathrooms spotless.

We was awakened by weights beimg slammed of the floor at 7.30 am , there was confetti on the bedding from previous stay and there was no coffee machine in room , 116 room number , i stayed here many time and heard spin class on at 10am which is fine but for weigh bars to be bounced on the floor consistantly at 7.30am well nursing a hangover on a sat morning really p me off.
