Gym is decent, staff are great

Cons:

Breakfast is quite poor and other food offerings aren’t the best. The beds are quite uncomfortable for me.

An uncomfortable stay in a hotel in a good location.

Check in procedure was unwelcoming and customer un-friendly. A member of staff stands and watches while the guest is required to complete a whole series of data entry screens. After a long drive and tiring day, the opposite of a welcome. I expect hotel reception staff to complete the check-in procedure, not require the customer to do so. We were given a room in a non air-conditioned part of the building and in which the heated towel rail had been left fully on. There was an error code on the environment controls unit which was flagged to the reception who provided a fan in response. Windows were not able to be opened beyond a small crack, and the fan only served to circulate the already hot air (due to recently ended heatwave and heated towel rail) around the room. A sleepless night in an unhealthy, overheated room. Grim.

Clean hotel no help at all from anyone

We reported our air con had broken at 10pm and waited 2 hours no one came as suggested on the chat
We couldn’t breathe in the room we requested maintenance again but no one came to help with the situation

Disappointing and poor ☹️

Air con wasn’t working in first room on a scorching day, and we only had 1 towel although the booking was for 2. Let us move to a different room where the air con was supposed to be working but wasn’t. Were given a fan, thank goodness, but the noise from the units or whatever they were outside our room was unbearable, even with the windows shut. We did not get any sleep at all.

Happy. Would use again if we were passing through that needed an overnight stop
Pros:

IONITY charging on site was the main reason for choosing the hotel as part of overnight on long journey.
Good value, comfortable and clean

Cons:

Quality of coffee out of machine for breakfast was terrible.
Cost of breakfast too high if you just want a coffee and pastry. Starbucks coffee option is not good quality coffee.
