The added cost of 22gbp each of you wanted to use the pool and gym
Friendly greeting from reception on arrival, very helpful. All staff throughout the stay seemed friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights while attending a wedding reception in one of the function rooms. Food at reception excellent. As requested on booking the room allocated was as close to lifts and the main hotel function areas as possible, which due to mobility issues, made the stay much easier.
Starbucks convenient
Club room was supposed to come with “lots of extras” only one small club biscuit and one type of tea bag. Staff unhelpful as they agreed it was poor but that was the policy!
Bland room compared with the Village rooms in the past. Car park full and quite noisy overnight.
Very convenient, staff could not have been more helpful and superb value for money.
Volume from the music in the leisure club below our room was a bit high for 7.30am!

I went there for the location in terms of proximity to my office, but honestly I will probably stay in Manchester and have a longer commute next time. Very old and not updated. I stayed in room 134 and the bottom of the bathroom door was rotted with water damage. No luggage rack or anywhere to put your suitcase. No drawers. Could not find the hairdryer. The sink did not drain. The window was covered with an opaque film so there was nothing for a view. One restaurant which is so-so ( I only ate 3 breakfasts there). No vending machine to get a drink or snack from.
Every thing was fine only for breakfast.
Bacon was cooked to long, very dry.
Tomatoes full of grease.
Orange juice was water! it must have been the worst orange juice I have ever had.

Very nice and friendly staff.
Aircon not working, room was stuffy, window has mega restrictions, can't get fresh air. Staff told us hasn't worked for ages,so why are the window restrictions not removed. Poor management of the problem!
