Für einen Schloßbesuch ideal.
Pros:

Wir wollten eine Veranstaltung in Schloss Versailles besuchen. Dafür war der Standort ideal. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und auch einen Supermarkt. Das Schloss ist fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett gebucht und dieses war sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Der Preis vielleicht ein bißchen hoch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war recht klein und hatte wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Auch für die Kleidung gibt es keinen Kleiderschrank sondern nur eine Stange über dem Safe. Die Badezimmertür war eine Schiebetür und eine Katastrophe. Sie blieb sehr oft hängen, was besonders nachts zu Störungen führte. Außerdem war das Badezimmer nebst Toilette direkt an der einen Bettseite, auch nicht immer angenehm.
Wir haben zwar keinen Parkplatz gebraucht und haben uns trotzdem die Tiefgarage einmal angesehen. Sie ist sehr eng und wir denken für die Autos heutzutage eine Herausforderung.

Mercure Versailles Chateau was an amazing stay
Pros:

My daughter and I have been travelling in Europe for the last 5 weeks and when we arrived at Mercure Versailles Chateau we felt welcomed. Beautiful hotel with everything that you need. The staff is amazing and available to help you for whatever you need. Always smiling and very helpful. After big days visiting Paris, Disney Paris and walking everywhere we were happy to finish our day in this comfortable hotel. The bed felt soft and the room was quiet. Comfy pillows as well. We loved our stay very much!

Cons:

It’s not about to property but it was just a bit away from the train station. A good 10-15 minutes walk.

Cons:

Plastikauflagen auf den Matratzen, nicht atmungsaktiv, man schwitzt trotz Klimaanlage. Klimaanlage laut.

Perfect stay in smart, comfortable, spotless hotel near to the sights of Versailles
Pros:

The hotel was perfect for our stay. We were a group of 3, my wife and I and our grown-up daughter. We had 2 rooms on the second floor of the hotel. The room was in perfect condition and spotless. The staff on reception were friendly from the first point of contact. There is parking at the hotel but it is limited to 8 or 10 spaces maximum. It is below the hotel and the entrance is rather tight, but we were lucky enough to get a space. The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the Palace of Versailles, which was the main purpose of our visit. We asked at reception for suggestions of places in the evening and they were kind enough to recommend a few options. On the first night, we chose to eat at a Tapas restaurant, just at the bottom of the street the hotel is on. And on the second evening we went to a restaurant recommended by the hotel. It was called Le Boeuf à la Mode and was no more than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We did have breakfast at the hotel on the first morning and we found it to be ok but not great, so we got breakfast somewhere else on the second (and final) morning - this might just be a matter of taste, though, so it is not a criticism.

Cons:

Nothing, it was comfortable and clean and met all our needs for our 2-night stay. The only negative was that we watched the England football team lose in the World Cup semi final to Argentina, which was sad, but it’s definitely the team’s responsibility and not the hotel’s!

Location, the main hotel area was nice (reception. breakfast area), dog-friendly

Cons:

The car parking was a bit awkward, some of the spaces are trapped in behind others. The room itself was a bit odd.. not in the main building it was out the back and felt like a pre-fab.

Beautiful people and places
Pros:

The staff are absolutely lovely, genuinely could not ask for nicer people. They gave great recognition for local places and were just great to talk too.

The room was small but thats not a bother as i was only there to sleep.

The neighbourhood is lovely and closed to many public transport links. And its so so close to Versailles Palace.

Cons:

I would have liked a mat outside the shower and I personally didn’t like the bed pillows.
