I found a bug in the room. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the light over the sink did not work.
Old, musky room, the walls need to be painted and the tub needs refurbishing.
Great and clean
PRO: The staff was very friendly.
CON: The floor was very dirty and needed to be clean. If you walked on it in sock feed or barefooted the bottom of your feet turned black. The AC never cooled the room off the entire time we were there. Worst of all the bed bugs had infested the room so bad that we could not stay there. We left the Inn about 10:30pm and went to another place to stay.
Hotel was VERY outdated!!! Was nothing like I expected . First room was leaking icebox and window open . Second room was not cooling. Just a terrible stay !!! The pictures I view was absolutely nothing like the actually hotel . Very Disappointed!!

It says pet friendly. We took our 17 lb Mini Bernedoodle with on vacation to Freeport, TX. This hotel was a one night stay between trip. The manager chased us down in her car screaming at my husband about our pet. She stated she owned the Hotel and it had a no pet policy. We made reservations online weeks prior and it stated a pet policy and that's why we booked at this hotel. We normally would have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express but they didn't allow pets in a Texas location we needed for an overnight stay.
The manager was lying she didn't own Hotel nor was aware that the hotel allowed pets per the Best Western Website online Reservation service.
Also our child that was with us fell out of bed into a already damaged and repaired wall. We reported the incident to the front desk and had no issues, manager wasn't there.
On the 15th of June the young lady( not the manager) informed us of repair cost and charges them to our credit card on the 14th of June. I then received an email stating we had reservations for the 15th of June that was nonrefundable and was made manually at hotel without our consent.
I called the hotel regarding the unauthorized reservation and the so called manager started screaming about a big hole in the wall that we made. Luckily I took photos showing the wall had been replaced once due to tub access for water and the bed is extremely close to wall. I can't control a sleeping child falling out of the bed but the manager was screaming on the phone e, rude and lacks any customer service skills. Stay away from this hotel...

I booked the hotel at 1130 at night for an unexpected trip. I attempted several times to call to inform the motel I would be a late check in, no answer. When I got there, no one was in the office to check me in for my room. I called several more times, got no answer. Attempted to leave a message on the answering machine, it cut me off at 5 seconds. I was left stuck, exhausted, with nowhere to sleep as I had already paid for this room. What a great inconvenience.
We've stayed happily at this hotel for 20 years during an annual music festival, but no more. In a three night stay, the room was not cleaned/serviced even once, and only once did they drop by fresh towels. The floor was gritty with not being vacuumed. Several of the towels were unacceptably yellow to gray and needed to be retired. A friend staying in another room received two spider bites on her hand during the night and had to go to urgent care for the infection; this is a clear sign that the room is not being properly cleaned.
We've never had this experience here before, but clearly something is very wrong. Until they fix this, I'd recommend finding another place.

The bed was horrible!! Very uncomfortable to sleep on. Light weight covers. Shower didn't work very well at all.
El toilet paper in the room showered and work place run down couch is nasty dirty would never stay there again
The room service people waking you up at 8:25 am knocking on the door waking me up and the check out time is at 11:00 am they knock twice during the hours of 8:25 and 9:00am
We stay here every year for the Polar Express. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and at a fair price. The included breakfast at the diner is a perk we always look forward to!
