A beautiful place with tranquil surroundings
Pros:

This was a lovely place to stay, the only downside was that we were only there for one night before going into the national park.

Lovely lodge with great amenities
Pros:

Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. The pool area is very nice and the restaurant (G’s) is good. There is also a lapa area where they do a traditional braai (think bbq on steroids) and a river area you can walk to. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a spacious 6 sleeper. The unit itself is great with a few little issues such as the shower door does not close and the double bed in the main upstairs bedroom has a mattress that is not very good. Other than that it is a very nice unit. The air conditioner wasn’t working and when we called them the next day they came out and fixed it almost within the hour. The unit is cleaned every day which is very nice. The lodge is 15 minutes from Phabeni gate into the Kruger Park. Also, even though when you are in the lodge you feel like you are out of the city in the bush, it is 5 minutes away from many good shops and restaurants.

A beautiful resort with a fabulous restaurant
Pros:

A very well run resort, the Golf course looks pristine.
We had a lovely, very well maintained unit, looking across the golf course. One omission is that there is no Weber nor place to braai under cover if it rains.
With loadshedding an every night occurrence the simple emergency lighting system was hard pressed to cope so be sure to take along your own torch, candles and emergency lights.
The fridge in the unit is very small, we simply could not fit our food and even one or two drinks into it for even a couple of days.
The resort amenities are in superb shape and the restaurant (G's at KNP) is superb. During the week we had a number of excellent sundowners, meals, Coffees and teas at the restaurant, The manager, Darryl and his staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient, the atmosphere, lighting, music and of course the food, were all top drawer, if only more restaurants around Kruger could be like this one, they certainly are the golden standard .
The Restaurant has an efficient, quiet generator so meals are easily enjoyed there during loadshedding.
This resort deserves its Gold Crown status.

Gold Crown standard!
Pros:

We visited Kruger Park Lodge over the weekend. Amazing place! Well kept , neat, golf course, hippo pool, walking trails! Everything we wanted. It is the best maintained holiday resort we have been to in a very long time. No wonder it won the 2019 RCI GoldCrown award! It has a tranquility all of its own. It was private and quiet , although many guests visited the Lodge over the weekend. It is fantastic that the entrance gate to KNP, Phabeni , is so near and makes the KNP so accessible for a day visit! We hope to visit Kruger Park Lodge again , soon!

Resort with excellent location on river
Pros:

We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting.

We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. The evening meal starters were poor, those which should have been hot were cold and the roast was generally overcooked.

The facilities this resort offers are excellent with Tennis, Table tennis, a small Pool table, a nice swimming pool and of course, Golf. The hippo pool and hide are well worth a visit with good views of a large number of hippos. We also saw kingfishers, a darter and egrets.

Superbe environnement, Lodge décevant...
Pros:

Superbe environnement.

Kruger Park Lodge - stayed for 4 nights
Pros:

Great hotel for families. Lots of activities for kids especially during school holidays when there is an entertainment co-ordinator arranging lots of varied games and activities for the kids. The accommodation was very clean and spacious with everything you need including washing machine and a bbq on the deck. Close to the town/shopping Centre and Kruger NP but would highly recommend having your own vehicle to get around.

Ok Hotel, but better places around
Pros:

The location is ok but not more. It is close to Kruger Park and in a golf club resort. Staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are outdated and worn out and need upgrading to keep up expected standards.
WiFi is quite expensive charged by MB.
I would not recommend this place anymore as there are better places around.

Beautiful Property
Pros:

The resort is great - you can do a ton of game and bird viewing on premesis. The only thing I would highly recommend is using the Numbi gate to Kruger rather than the Phabeni Gate. Phabeni is closer but MUCH ruder and much busier. Numbi is an extra 5 minute drive but well worth diversion.

Huge room & very friendly staff
Pros:

Huge rooms, very clean and well kept. The food at the restaurant was very good, and the staff very friendly. Most of all, it was very convenient for the Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park - only about 15 minutes drive away.

Good rooms, shame about the service
Pros:

5 nights in a 3 bed chalet. House and surrounds were very good although they could not provide a baby cot until the next day despite our request when booking.
food from the buffet was average at best, the service was without one smile (the only place we experienced this on the whole trip) and the music in the restaurant (plus the menu) gives the feel of a place stuck in the 80s.

Charmant et hors du monde
Pros:

Great location but poor service
Pros:

We arrive at Kruger Park Lodge late at night and for one night only - a stopover before safari. It is a great location and great set up with cottages that are clearly timeshare, weekly rentals and the odd stopover guest. The site is very secure and with a golf course, swimming pool, great kids play area and wild animals on view from the edges of the resort - it is an idyllic setting.

The main let down for us, were the staff, who weren't exactly welcoming and also did the minimum to make you feel comfortable. Simple things like showing you to the lodge and explaining the facilities, timings for meals, what's included and what's not etc etc Instead we were drawn a map, and in the dark, told to find the cottage.

It strikes me that if you're a one night visitor they don't know how to accommodate you, as they are predominantly set up for timeshare (minimal) support
