Lovely old fashioned interior and exterior.
It's suppose to be dog friendly, this applies only in that your dog can stay in your room.
Not allowed anywhere in the dining room for breakfast. Was shown the little bar area before the dining room. Small bar tables with no cutlery. I had to walk through to the dining room for each breakfast course and coffee/juice. And take my cutlery fron a set table. Why can't you set aside a small area of the dining room or at least tell me when I booked for breakfast so I can then make a decision which would have been `no thanks` There are plenty of places in the town to get breakfast with your dog. As a single traveller would look for somewhere that really is dog friendly!
Location was great, we had a suite which was massive. Staff really nice and only £6 to park for 24hrs.
Very dated, limited alcohol free drinks at the bar and very expensive for the alcohol free beer.
Love the wide corridors big rooms.

Booked direct with hotel for 3 night stay. When we went to check in and the receptionist saw my husband uses a walking stick she changed our allocated room to one just across from the lift, which was very much appreciated. Room was at front, huge high ceiling with twin beds and walk in shower. Great value for money right in the centre of town, will definitely be staying again in the future.

An excellent hotel with good sized and well stocked rooms, the beds are very comfy. It has a nice central location that is easy access for the town and is reasonably priced.

Had a lovely night's stay very clean spacious room, tea and coffee and milk was plentiful, me and my sister have stayed here before, that's why we returned
