Great location
It was good to walk into the town from the hotel.
The parking was a bit tight.
It's a nice grand hotel. Staff do their best.
It's was all good . A nice experience . I didn't realise I had to ask the night before for room cleaning . I have not had to do this at other hotels.
Everything, I come to Buxton often and it’s always my go to place for a night, my daughter loves the pool

The pool and the amenities
The room was in the last corner. Had a weird smell. Even after requesting that it’s in the last corner they didn’t change.

An elegant building located in a prime position. parking is good. Our room was a basic room clean and lovely decorated. Breakfast was lovely and lunch was good too.
Staff were lovely.
We were very disappointed this time with the spa facilities. It was that busy we couldn’t use the steam or sauna and we had very limited use of the pool with the number of people in it .
We had evening meal, a lot of the options were already sold out and we didn’t feel the menu was as good as last time. We also thought that some of the meals being charged extra for didn’t warrant this.
Our last stay at the palace was superb. This time we weren’t as highly impressed for the reasons stated above.
Lovely old hotel, clean and well looked after. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great. Location was prefect
Pool was nice but the area around the pool and the changing rooms were a bit run down
Wonderful stay, greeted with an upgrade to a fabulous suite, not asked for just given, a real bonus. We are in the side conservatory…great experience
A little tired in places and we missed out on the pool as the attendant didn’t show so really disappointing as we only had a one night stay .
