Grand entrance interior with Victorian grandeur and HUNDREDS of chesterfield sofas dotted all over the place. My twin room was spacious and the en-suite large. I had a countryside view from the high window which was nice. When showering, however, the tray did not empty fast enough and the bathroom flooded! I was told this needed major pipe work and I could change rooms. To avoid the hassle I chose to stay put and shower quickly and intermittently to minimise the flood. They must have known there was a problem with the shower but I bet they still let out this room (309).
The whole building was beautiful and seemed to go on forever. Our room was very spacious. Very clean. In fact oerfect

Historic building. Well maintained.
Bed mattress could do with a more comfortable topper, too hard, room 312.
Staff helpful.
Bed too hard.
