Location and charm
Nothing
Tripped was awesome. Best staff
Bathtub mot very clean
This hotel was perfect for our needs. We arrived on Amtrak and walked from the King St station. The very pleasant clerk let us check in early because our train arrived ahead of schedule. We were able to walk to the Monorail, Space Needle and it was just a block from Elliott Bay. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. This is in Pioneer Square, an older part of town. During the day we didn't have any problems while walking around. We didn't go out after dark. Our 3rd story room overlooked Yesler st and other than a few seagulls, it was very quiet. Clean, comfortable and we'll definitely stay here again when in Seattle.
Absolutely wonderful stay in beautifully restored downtown Seattle Hotel. Well appointed rooms. Check in and check out was seamless. Breakfast very well done
Room, brkfst, staff
Location, homeless all around
Safe
Close to all heritage spots and within walking of the needle, museums and tourist hot spots
The breakfast was awesome too
Huge rooms, appropriately renovated with the historical charm
Honestly nothing
I loved the free complimentary breakfast as well as the location of this hotel. The hotel was clean.
There was one staff member who was giving a bit of an attitude
Breakfast.
Temperature control of the sleeping room.
I thought the staff was friendly and helpful (we had a very late arrival and they assisted quickly with the check in and also helped find us a nearby place to get a bit to eat. The location is excellent and close to Pioneer Square and the waterfront. There are also many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. The hotel was clean and well kept (especially considering the historic age of the location), the bed was comfortable and bathroom very clean. I will definitely recommend it to any friend looking to stay in Seattle address.
I can't really say there was much I didn't like... maybe the Air Conditioner/ Heater in room had a loud fan.
I liked that it was walking distance to Pike's Market. It had a good breakfast. It's in an area that used to be beautiful.
Lots of homelessness and drug use. A police officer stopped and asked where the shots came from as we walked to a bar for dinner. On a walk around the hotel block we got an eyeful. It is in an old beautiful area of town that has been taken over by drugs, violence, and homelessness. The walk to Pike's Market was ok though. Our room was hot! The air conditioning wasn't working. It would have been nice to have a place to gather to play cards or even sit at a table to visit.
Good service at desk
The shower nozzle. was broken very difficult to shower
I was attending a ballgame, and the location was very convenient.
It was pretty expensive...but not out of line with room prices in Seattle generally.
