The hotel is lovely! Love the old charm and the employees were great. It was a great location and lots to do within walking distance.

Pros:

Location, nice old but good atmosphere . Good, very comfortable beloved their toiletries, smelled great!.
Good breakfast included!

Cons:

Kept curtains closed, bad view, but not there for that. Needed extra blankets, easy fix.

Highly recommend! Great location, friendly staff, and access to the best of Seattle!
Pros:

The property felt old-fashioned and modern at the same time. Staff were extremely friendly and I felt very safe there! Close to the stadiums, waterfront and just a quick walk to downtown core.

Pros:

It is in a great location - convenient for the light rail (to the airport) and within walking distance of Pike's Place. Excellent friendly desk staff in the afternoon/evening.

Cons:

The wifi was a bit patchy in the room. The breakfast would be better if there were some healthier options (although this might be a common breakfast in hotels in the USA ... I'm not sure.)

Good Stay, But Parking Instructions From Front Desk Led to an $80 Ticket

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Pioneer Square Hotel Downtown. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a good location, and my room and overall stay were fine. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a frustrating issue related to parking during check-in.
Before arriving, I called the front desk to ask where I could briefly park while checking in. I was specifically instructed to park directly in front of the hotel and told that once inside I would receive a key and directions to the parking garage. I followed those instructions and went inside for only a few minutes to complete check-in.
During that short time, my car received an $82 parking ticket. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the manager stated she filed an incident report and advised me to contest the ticket. However, contesting a citation requires significant time and effort, particularly for someone traveling, and the ticket occurred only because I followed the instructions given by hotel staff.
Situations like this place the burden on the guest for something that occurred due to staff guidance. I would appreciate the hotel taking responsibility by reimbursing the cost of the ticket or assisting in resolving it directly. I also encourage the hotel to review how parking instructions are communicated during check-in so that other guests don’t encounter the same issue.
I hope management will review this situation and work toward a fair resolution. I would happily update this review if the hotel helps resolve the ticket that occurred due to their parking instructions

Fabulous hotel! Great place to stay in downtown Seattle!
Pros:

Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Excellent location, close to lots of bars and restaurants. Ten minute walk to Lumen Field. Continental breakfast was much more than I expected. (Hot breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, great coffee. Wow! ) Room was clean well appointed and comfortable mattress. Would definitely stay here again. Many thanks
