An enjoyable stay
Pros:

The hotel itself has just been refurbed and our room was lovely and modern, as were the public areas like the bar and reception. The pool is a huge bonus and our kids loved it. The staff were so friendly and attentive- they made a real fuss of our two young children which was really nice. The location is great.

Cons:

You need to actually tell the hotel to clean your room otherwise they won't do it. They said there was a card in the room telling us this but we didn't find it. The staff were great when we raised this and sent fresh towels, tea and milk etc but it was a bit disappointing from what is otherwise a fabulous hotel.

When can we go back?! We loved it and were sad it was only for one night
Pros:

The room was huge with massive, incredibly comfortable double beds and the bathroom was gorgeous with a great rainfall shower. There were so many facilities it felt very swish and fantastic value for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was lovely and the bar did great cocktails! We used the spa and loved the sauna and steam room, the pool was a little crowded but a lane had been marked off which we used. Overall a wonderful stay

Nice hotel in a good location but understaffed and expensive for what it was.
Pros:

Nice hotel, clean and in a good location.
Good gym as part of leisure centre.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t great and understaffed.
Leisure centre changing rooms were a bit grotty.

Good value for money but overall a disappointing stay
Pros:

The room was a great size and beds are really comfortable

Cons:

It was very noisy, you could hear people in the
neighbouring rooms. We needed to leave at 6.30 and breakfast didn’t start until 7 I think this is too late for those needing to travel to work etc. I also needed to speak to a member of staff when I was leaving and there wasn’t a sole in sight.

Pros:

Room was very clean and comfortable. Gym was incredible and the pool, sauna and steam room are extras that you just don’t get at this price point.

Clean, nice size room and view over the canal. Staff at reception were lovely!

Construction work at the hotel and drilling at 8am in the morning.
Also coffee machine didn’t work.
