Very new & clean, staff were genuinely lovely & accommodating. Views were cute too.
It’s a shame you need to upgrade just to have a bath in the room. The facilities should be open a bit later (after check out) as I think the spa use should be until 2pm considering the next check in isn’t until 3pm.

I have emailed the hotel regards concerns with the building works going on earlier in the morning. Whilst listened to the response was not satisfactory
Although ok the breakfast was very basic One salt and pepper between all the tables was ridiculous
Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Nice decor. Easy parking.
No room service was available for dinner because the restaurant was busy. This was disappointing as I was travelling alone at that point and had relied on this service being available (part of the reason for selecting the hotel). We also requested room service breakfast, only to be told this would cost an additional £20 per person plus a tray charge, even though our room rate included breakfast. The room was also very warm. The sofa bed was saggy.
Great hotel, great location. Nice rooms spacious clean. 10 15 mins walk from center and train station. Friendly staff.

I am not sure why the approach is to not service the rooms during the stay. I certainly do not need changed bedsheets or a deep clear, but I would appreciate bins being emptied and loo role replaced. We were travelling with a small toddler and took out the bins ourselves to avoid any unpleasant smells.
The breakfast spread was great overall but really poor for catering for allergies.. I would suggest small descriptions next to the food available stating any main allergens.
The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable. Staff were lovely

Lovely comfy bed and a fabulous shower.
Standard rooms have no air con- you have to upgrade to get it - and there were no upgrade rooms left on one of the hottest days of the year. However the staff found us a fan which made it more bearable.
