The walls and floor wasn’t very sound proof so we could hear our neighbours next door and above us
Reception staff a little curt, also only one lift in action we had to carry our bags up to the third floor.
We booked the Hilton Nottingham because they had an accessible room, which I needed as a wheelchair user.
Our check-in time was 3 p.m. We arrived at the hotel about 20 minutes early to see if we could check in sooner. As expected, the room wasn’t ready. We were told they would call housekeeping to get it prepared and to check back at 3 p.m. when it should be ready.
3 p.m. came and the room was still not ready. We were told to wait another 10 minutes while they called housekeeping again. After 10 minutes we checked back, but the room still wasn’t ready. We asked if there was another accessible room available and were told there wasn’t.
We kept being told to check back every 10 minutes, which we did. After waiting a total of 40 minutes past 3 p.m., we went back to the desk and mentioned that as a disabled guest I have a right to an accessible room. As soon as this was raised, they checked the system again and suddenly found the room was ready. Because we had been waiting so long, they offered a 25% refund, which we accepted.
I’m still waiting for the refund, and it’s now been over two weeks since our stay! To make matters worse, when we finally got into the room we found hairs on the wet room’s walls and floor! Disgusting!
Room was very clean
Sorry but I didn’t take any photos
Everything about our stay was perfect. Steve the porter who helped us with our luggage was friendly, personable & kind.
Check in staff were great, the free prosecco was a really nice touch.
Our room was clean and comfortable and location was perfect.
Close to everything in the city. 12 minute walk to motor point arena. Modern , clean and very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Small, small room. Should have stayed at premier inn for the cost.
Close to the Motorpoint Arena which we were attending. Great location in the City Centre. Very efficient, friendly and helpful Staff.
Room was clean, good location, beds were a little hard and didn't manage to get a good sleep.
We had a problem at check in as they couldn’t find our booking. We were given half a glass of prosecco and had to ask for it to be filled up. The room was nice but there was only 1 tea bag and no shower gel.
Right in the centre of Nottingham, perfect for shops, the arena and the castle. Welcome was exceptional including an unexpected glass of Prosecco!
The bed wasn’t comfortable, the cleaning was the best, and the safe was too low to use, not very practical.
Housekeeping knocked on the door at 17:20, didn’t even give us a chance to open the door before they used their key to open the door themselves - very uncalled for and out of order of them. Rooms are not soundproof, can very clearly hear outside noise, people talking in the corridor, next door rooms. Only one lift for six floors, not ideal. Beds and pillows very very soft. Only pro about this hotel is the location
Fantastic location and lovely wellness facilities
Room was clean.
Space was tight for 2 travellers. No closet and drawers were faux .Walking Space between bed and tv is too narrow for luggage. No table for stool to place items.
Hotel in the the right area clean great helpful staff all at a great price will be back again
Apart from check in which was an utter joke - huge queues, room not ready etc - the rest of it was fine. It’s an exactly what it says on the tin type of stay. You not what you’re getting, it does the job. There are no frills, it is not bespoke, but everything is solid. The product has been honed over many years to provide a stay that lacks any identity but just about hits the mark - from the room to the breakfast!
Hotel is completely fine and what you would expect for an established Hilton. There was only one lift working, of which we were told was brand new, but it was incredibly slow. Some tired elements in room, but was all clean and in working order.
Had an issue with noise and vibrations room 606 on sixth flour proberbly air con unit on roof ,the manager resolved the issue quickly and with great professionalism, moving us to a new room.
All great
