We were there to celebrate our mum's 80th birthday. When we checked in, they had upgraded our room which we were not expecting. They had also given us a bottle of wine to celebrate the occasion. The room was well appointed with modern facilities and comfortable beds. The resort was lovely with a good size pool and spa. When we needed assistance at the concierge desk, the staff were very accommodating. We had lunch in The Cart one day and used our room credit from your Green initiative to pay for it, what a great idea to save the environment and give guests something back.
Housekeeping were very noisy one morning. It was around 8am and we could here a lot of banging. We opened our door to see what was happening and that was when we noticed that other rooms were being serviced.
The whole room was excellent, with a very comfortable bed.

The stairs from the carpark and to our accommodation were a surprise. My husband is using a walking stick occasionally due to bad knees and we were met with all the stairs and no lifts. Carrying bags also up and down was alot to contend with.
Being met with a remark on the Saturday night after attending the football that the kitchen closes at 8.30 if we could order quickly....it was 8.10pm. We are of kitchen operations and great hospitality it's been our life my husband is a retired chef of 40 years. This remark at the desk didn't make us feel welcome or at ease to dine.
