Great Place
Pros:

I had a wonderful dining experience with my wife at Larry's China. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff were extremely attentive and courteous. The food was delicious, well-presented, and served promptly. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection—especially the crispy spinach and Kung Pao chicken.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service. A special mention to our host, Hriveine, who was incredibly helpful and hospitable. Her recommendations were spot on. Thank you so much!

Restful and comfortable and pleasant stay!
Pros:

The location is excellent and the hotel has great character and charm. Super spacious room, very comfortable stay. A nice balance of new and updated aspects like the shower and toiletries with some of the old world furnishing and the exceptional art prints in the corridors. Loved the book exchange in the lobby. I have stayed here before too and enjoyed it very much then too.

Cons:

The price was very high because of the AI conference in the city but still it felt unfair. A small quibble, but the coffee and pastries in the small bakery cafe at the entrance could be much better. Good coffee and baked goods is not difficult to source I would think.

Faded glory but very good nevertheless. Renovation promised soon.
Pros:

The Ambassador hotel was clearly once a fine top class hotel but it now needs some renovation. It must have had beautiful grounds around it once but these now have been built over with rather shabby blocks of flats. Now part of the IHCL (Taj) Seleqtions brand, I understand that it will be renovated in the coming year. My main criticisms are that the bathroom of my room was very dated with an old bathtub and shower curtain, and that the original single glazed wood framed windows not only desperately need repainting but provide no sound-proofing from the busy road outside. That said, the service was excellent and the food served at the Yellow Brick Road restaurant was delicious with a comprehensive menu and comparatively inexpensive. One major plus was the free taxi service to the Taj Mahal Hotel up the road where my wife and I were able to enjoy free use of their wonderful facilities and outdoor pool. The public areas of the hotel are very much 5 star quality as is the quality of the staff of the hotel. It will just take a few improvements to take the whole hotel up to 5 star rating in my opinion but I can definitely recommend it despite that.

Amazing & Surprising luxury with superior customer service in a very central location.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful providing exemplary customer service. Breakfast staff was amazing. Housekeeping was wonderful and taking care of all our needs. Front Desk staff was super helpful taking care of all our needs as well. The air conditioning worked wonderfully. The bathroom was so special with an amazing shower and quick draining drains… a little detail but makes all the difference.

Cons:

Everything was great. Our every need was anticipated. No complaints at all.

Great stay at the Ambassdor Hotel in New Delhi
Pros:

Spent two and a half nights at this hotel (with a 3am flight on the last night) and it's great. Our deluxe queen room was large, clean and comfortable. The restaurants and bar very good, including a wonderful breakfast service. Small but nice gym. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Pretty much what you need and without excess.

The best part is the location. It's a two minute walk to the Khan Market and the metro, and in walking distance of many monuments, museums, and restaurants (if you dare to walk in New Delhi, which we did). Taxis and rickshaws right outside if you don't dare walk. We could get everywhere we wanted to go quickly and easily, which is not usually the case in this huge city!

We would stay again and highly recommend the Ambassador.

Disappointing stay but the best located hotel in New Delhi.
Pros:

The location, next door to Khan Market.
The staff are very attentive and welcoming,
The breakfast is delicious

Cons:

The bedroom had plumbing problems and the room had an awful damp smell.
On arrival the room wasn’t presented as other rooms were with a bedspread.
My room key never worked so I always had to go downstairs for another key.
The view from my balcony was looking into the ugly internal court which was full of rubbish. Very ugly.

Tolles Hotel in grüner Oase mit sehr freundlichem Service.
Pros:

Cons:

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen!

Good location, tired building.
Pros:

Good location in a pleasant part of Delhi. Good restaurant and coffee shop.

Cons:

It was worn and old. It felt like staying in an old Holiday Inn in the UK, but more expensive. Our room had been renovated, but key details like the bath room door, entrance door and ceiling hadn’t been touched. This gave the room a very worn appearance despite the renovation.
