Excellent location, value for money.
Pros:

Excellent location for travellers who already know central London and want to explore further afield. The hotel sits in the heart of Greenwich, with the market, Maritime Museum, Queen’s House, Cutty Sark and Observatory all within easy walking distance. Bus, boat and DLR connections are close by, and even London City Airport is near enough to make a day trip to Edinburgh perfectly feasible. Transport links will improve further once Cutty Sark DLR reopens in spring 2026.
Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, with the usual tea and coffee facilities, though mine offered only open shelving rather than a wardrobe. Breakfast is served in the adjoining Banana Tree restaurant and offers a choice of cooked English or continental options. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
A minor drawback was the non‑functioning Chromecast, which is due for an upgrade. Overall, a good stay.

Cheap, great location. Room ok...
Pros:

Location, price and lobby couldn't be beat!

Cons:

Room was noisy, a few things broken, odd porthole window to nowhere... window handle broken and bathroom with no blind onto a car park. Even with frosted glass this felt like you could be seen. Toilet so close to sink no rooms for legs...

Relaxing short break.
Pros:

The room was very clean with everything required for a relaxing stay. We had breakfast in the Banana Tree Restaurant connected to the hotel which was very good. The staff were very helpful as we had made two bookings (2 nights) ans (1 night) as we had to change our travel plans they made sure we kept the same room during our stay. The location was fantastic for sight seeing. I would defintely recommend

Cons:

Room overlooked the carpark and as we were on the ground floor, we had to keep the curtains mainly closed.

Disappointed
Pros:

I have stayed many times, the location works for me, however on this occasion the room was made up as a twin instead of double and the tv didn’t work, the next morning I brought this to the attention of the staff, who told me it would be sorted when I returned. Unfortunately nothing was done, when I complained they said sorry. Nothing was done. I won’t be returning, there are other hotels in the area who will get my quite regular business in the future.

Good for short stay near Greenwich city centre and park
Pros:

Clearly, the location can’t be much better and the staff was very helpful. Separate bin for the recyclables. Luckily, I had a quasi quiet room.

Cons:

I expected daily cleaning, or at least the bins to be emptied. Alternatively, swap the tiny bins for bigger versions.
