أقمنا أنا وعائلتي لمدة أسبوع في فندق وأبراج مكة (Makkah Hotel & Towers)، ولكن بصراحة أشعر أن وصف هذه الأيام بأنها مجرد «إقامة في فندق» لا يعبّر أبدًا عن حقيقة ما عشناه.

لقد جئنا إلى مكة المكرمة لنكون من ضيوف الرحمن، جئنا لأداء العمرة، وللطواف حول بيت الله، وللصلاة والدعاء والعبادة، ولنعيش أيامًا في أطهر بقاع الأرض، في مكان تشتاق إليه قلوب ملايين المسلمين في جميع أنحاء العالم.

ولهذا سيبقى هذا الفندق مرتبطًا في قلوبنا وذاكرتنا بهذه الرحلة المباركة ما حيينا.

أن تستيقظ في مكة وأنت تعلم أن الكعبة المشرفة وبيت الله الحرام على بُعد دقائق قليلة منك، وأن تسمع الأذان، وتتوجه للصلاة، ثم تعود إلى مكان تجد فيه الراحة والطمأنينة مع عائلتك، فهذه نعمة عظيمة لا يمكن وصفها بالكلمات.

بالنسبة لنا، لم يكن الفندق مجرد مكان للنوم.

لقد كان بيتنا خلال واحدة من أهم وأجمل الرحلات في حياتنا، مكانًا نستريح فيه بين الصلوات والطواف والعبادات، ونجتمع فيه كأسرة، ثم ننطلق منه مرة بعد مرة إلى بيت الله الحرام.

ونود أن نخص بالشكر والتقدير الأخ الفاضل فهد خديش (Fahad Khudaysh)، قائد الوردية (Shift Leader).

أخي العزيز فهد،

ربما ما قمت به معنا كان بالنسبة لك جزءًا من عملك اليومي، وربما تستقبل كل يوم أعدادًا كبيرة من الضيوف من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

ولكن الإنسان أحيانًا لا يعلم مقدار الأثر الذي تتركه كلمة طيبة أو ابتسامة صادقة أو مساعدة مخلصة في قلب إنسان آخر.

لقد ترك حسن تعاملك، واحترامك، واهتمامك، واستعدادك للمساعدة أثرًا جميلًا في قلوبنا، ولن ننساه بإذن الله.

وفي مكة تحديدًا، تصبح الضيافة ذات معنى مختلف.

فالناس يأتون إلى هذه المدينة المباركة من جميع أنحاء العالم، تختلف لغاتهم وأوطانهم وقصصهم وهمومهم وأمنياتهم، ولكن يجمعهم هدف واحد:

أن يعبدوا الله وأن يقصدوا بيته الحرام.

وعندما يستقبلهم إنسان بالأخلاق الطيبة ويسعى إلى راحتهم ويُسهّل عليهم إقامتهم، فإنه لا يقدم لهم خدمة فندقية فقط، بل يساهم بطريقة غير مباشرة في تسهيل رحلة أساسها العبادة والطاعة والقرب من الله.

ولهذا نقول لك من أعماق قلوبنا:

I would be happy to come back again, but would definitely opt for Makkah Hotel
Pros:

It's location. 1 lift service from ground floor to room level. Great helpful stuff. Good range of breakfast

Cons:

If there was a a staircase/escalator leading to all levels. Or if there was more lifts. I would've been happy to walk up 20 floors than wait 15 minutes for a lift which stops at every floor.
