Pros:

The room size and view

Cons:

A couple of staff seemed miserable, no smile, no greet and no customer engagement. Reported net curtain was hanging down on one side and nothing was done or said about it. Not a good look for the room

Very enjoyable and enhanced by the quality of the hotel
Pros:

The hotel is located within 4-5 minutes walk of Bournemouth Pier
It is handy for buses - 2 minutes up the hill
The staff are very helpful and approachable
I paid for breakfast - it was good value
The room, including the bed, were comfortable

Cons:

The hotel has adopted a policy of not cleaning rooms daily. I understand the reasoning for this but they have put the onus on the guest to make requests .re cleaning, keeping the room tidy.
Couldn't someone look into the room every other day, for example.
