The location
During Breakfast at 8:30am it would have been nice if they didn't play Eminems uncensored version of "Without me". I was with my five year old and having the F word, the B word and talking about doing things to their top lady parts would of been of been something I think didn't need to mention to the staff, I then didn't expect them to let the song finish before they actually went and change the music to something more appropriate for 8:30 in the morning.
The staff were wonderful! We mentioned it was our anniversary and we were left a cute surprise in our room 😊 so sweet!
Beds could be a bit wider, was a small double and the pillows were a bit hard too. Other than that, fine. Clean, had everything that was needed.

Reception sprung extra 1% service charge on us upon check in , when i queried this as it had not been mentioned in the booking info , i was fed a line about it being something 3star hotels do now ?? , when i pressed further and said I had not been charged this when staying at Euston square hotel previously ( or in any other 3* hotel ) all of a sudden it became an optional fee ? I explained I would rather give a tip directly to the maid if I felt service was good . Check in not impressed I refused but did not seem very transparent exactly where this £ was going and what it was for ?? Did not sit well .
Other than this it’s a great little basic hotel
