Great for a weekend away
Pros:

Great location and super friendly staff :) breakfast was good too

Cons:

Rooms weren’t very soundproof, could hear clearly conversations in the neighbouring rooms

Great location for a short stay, don’t expect too much.
Pros:

The location is great, just a short walk to Darling Harbour.

Cons:

Everything was very tired. Our shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We asked for fresh towels and were asked to come and pick them up from reception. The aircon was noisy but you had to have it on or the room became uncomfortably hot. It would have been nice to have had water in the fridge.
I’d say it was 2 and a half stars.

There was a weird smell in the room - like something was rotting. We had to move rooms because we couldn’t sleep because of the smell.

I will never ever stay at an Ibis hotel again
Pros:

The room was filthy and dirty- smelling of urine

Cons:

My wife and I were booked to stay at this hotel for 5 nights- the condition of the room - described above- was unacceptable
We stayed one night and moved out of the hotel the next morning.
I complained about the room to the hotel manager and he agreed to refund the full amount
I complained about the state of the room to Booking.Com - they were not interested in assisting me and was advised that if I required the refund then I should pursue the matter myself
Booking.Com simply walked away from the problem I received no help from them at all. I spent a day of my holiday looking for another accommodation and chasing Ibis for the refund

Ibis were more helpful than Booking.Com and I am very grateful for their help

It is great if you have a conference at Darling Harbour otherwise stay closer to the city.
Pros:

It was clean and friendly. Good buffet breakfast.

Cons:

It really isn’t near anything anymore like the old darling harbour shops. It takes ages to walk just to get a drink from a supermarket for example.

Pros:

The location was wonderful, breakfast decent value and the bed was SOOO comfortable

Cons:

It was and looked/felt dirty and it was falling apart and run down.
Blood stains on carpet
Shower falling apart
Obvious water damage
Foot prints visible on doors and walls
And the bedroom had something weird like an old camera that had been removed still hanging from the roof have photos.of all these issues
