Location is good.
Property is showing its age and needs a refurb, in the bar, pool, general areas and the room. Our room was 402/Balvenie which, I worked out was above the bar. We checked in and there was crashing and banging below the room between 15:00hrs to 00:30hrs. Paint and paper was peeling in the room, mold and dirt build up in the bathroom/shower and the floodlight in the rear car park illuminated the room (curtains closed) until 05:30. No blackout blinds/curtains. Staff were nice and when I mentioned the noise and disrupted sleep, a glass of wine or two got removed from the bill.

The room overlooked the rubbish bins. The tea and coffee was not replenished fully. There was other peoples property left in the room. No tv remote. The quilt was not suitable and needed replacing.

I didn’t know the steam room and hot tub outdoors had to booked it wasn’t mentioned at checking in

The hotel was fabulous perfect location. Food amazing,the bar offered lovely cocktails and the spa was very good too.Defintley recommend a treatment. But to top it all was Niall the general manger and his team it was our honeymoon and they was so welcoming. Fabulous,we definitely return. Thank you to you all sharon and Andy.

A scruffy, frayed cushion, a broken window catch & a bathroom door that swung open unless firmly closed.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The insight restaurant was lovely.
It was a little dated and tired looking. Grouting in showers need seeing to. The tv is not connected to Netflix etc. Normally wouldn’t bother but it was torrential rain so we were stuck in room. It was extremely hot in rooms and upper floor. Heating full on even though just beginning of September.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is comfortable and very clean and Loch Fyne is beautiful. Our dog was very welcome.
The food was exceptional and the bar area spacious looking out onto the Loch. The Spa was lovely, nice pool.
