Ich komme gerne wieder.
Pros:

Dorint Hotels stehen mit ihrem Namen für gehobenen Gastfreundlichkeit und das hat man in diesem Hotel auch als Gast gespürt. Insgesamt waren die Angestellten sehr höflich und aufmerksam, die Zimmer sind ansprechend und gepflegt. Das Bett war bequem, das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen und die Lage ist Zentral, aber sehr ruhig. Man hat einen schönen Ausblick auf die Elbe und die Albrechtsburg. Alles in allem, ein schöner Aufenthalt und ich komme gerne wieder.

Cons:

Die Parkgebühren 15,00 - 25,00 €(Tiefgarage) finde ich etwas überzogen. 10,00 - 15,00 €/Nacht halte ich für akzeptabel und diese Parkpreise sind umläufig "gängig". Das W-Lan war in meinem Zimmer etwas "dünn" und holprig, so das ein flüssiges arbeiten am Laptop schwierig war.

Insgesamt war es sehr gut
Pros:

Das gesamte Ambiente war sehr schön und super gepflegt. Das Frühstück war vielseitig, alles frisch und der Blick über die Elbe zur Burg war wunderschön.

Cons:

Die Matratze war uns zu weich, sodass wir schlecht schlafen konnten. Im Saunabereich gibt es viel zu wenige Ruheliegen, sodass wir immer nach dem Saunagang aufs Zimmer mussten.

Great hotel, Spa is Saunas only (costs extra), Gym is meh and the view and atmosphere are wonderful!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, the view of the river is great and the spa area is beautiful as well! looking on the outside area that was gorgeous and next to the river - although not all was accessible to us on the off season. I loved the design all around the hotel, it was inviting and fancy at the same time, I really enjoyed that! everything was clean and I appreciated the green approach of 'cleaning by request' and asking for extra stuff like a kettle in our case (tip; remember to ask for cups etc as well as they are also per request)

Breakfast was great! seriously the best egg I had in a hotel and a great variety of products to pick from or order (family had an omelette for example). they also seem to be very accommodating to dietary needs like vegan food etc.

Location was nice, ~10 min walk from the city, it's not a beautiful walk but nothing too bad either, the city itself is wonderful as well!

The restaurant was also wonderful, same facilities as the breakfast room (view of the river and castle etc) and the food was great! I even ordered the vegetarian option just because it sounded so interesting and it really was great! a bit pricy like any hotel restaurant but well worth it!

Facilities:
- The gym is only a few treadmill style machines.. I was disappointed they had no weights or anything to actually complete a workout - I did not use it because of that.
- The outside is beautiful but the door locks you out, I know it's off season but guests still want to enjoy the river and it's ridiculous that we couldn't do that without asking family to open the door for us.
- Spa area was full to a brim. it's very off-season and the hotel barely had any guests but at some points people had to stand for lack of space. the size of the spa is not fitting the amount of guests you have.
- we were also a bit disappointed that the spa only had saunas.. we probably could have found it out beforehand, so I don't blame the hotel.. but in case you missed it too I decided to add it here.

Price:
TLDR - added costs are excessive IMO and a booking mistake cost us a lot (not hotel's fault)
- I found the hotel when searching for 4 people but apparently when I booked it only booked for 2 people. it's not the hotel's fault but I had to pay a lot extra on arrival because of that. I probably would have opted for a different location if I knew that.. I think the price is too high - which is their right of course.

- I'm also not a fan of paying extra for already existing facilities like the spa space and even more for a robe and slippers or 15 Euros per day for parking (I parked in the free parking space 4 min away as my car was too tall anyway - highly recommended)

Although I added all of these points I still think the place is great and would highly recommend a visit if the price is right for you!
