Pros:

Lovely hotel in centre of town, quite noisy and busy!! Make sure you get a room on back side of hotel.

Cons:

Every day cleaning of room, hardly any teabags or milk had to keep asking for more, some days no water was replaced in room, again had to leave notes in room.

Pros:

Location on high st good. Room tidy and clean hotel corridors and staff friendly. All seemed really nice til breakfast see feedback and beware.

Cons:

We were very disappointed and unusuallt miffed. We are frequent travellers and i rarely post reviews as most places are as described. The breakfast at booking was included. It was actually only described later as a continental breakfast but IT WASN'T EVEN THAT. It was one starter option one piece of fruit one fruit juice and one coffee. No follow on items for free all chargeable. Even coffee top ups were a chargeable item at 4.95 so no second cup of tea without paying. We just ended up feeling REALLY ripped off. Hot a la carte food was extra fair enough at 9 to 14 pounds from eggs to full english hot option. But the barest options that were included were minimal. If you are a room only traveller or someone who doesnt mind throwing unnecessary cash about this hotel breakfast will suit you. If you like to enjoy a nice included breakfast to set you up for a lovely days sightseeing then either stay elsewhere or think room only and grab a decent breakfast out n about but dont get drawn that your booking will include breakfast its a minimal fit. Based on breakfast feels like the hotel is run by money grabbing highly polished marketeers who have found very polished ways to make their cut. Sorry but thats our feeling.

Great location, really in the middle of everything. The staff was excellent!
Pros:

Room spacious and heated well. Reception staff amazing, thank you. Location is unbeatable.

Cons:

The bathroom shower was dated, but we knew it was an older building, so kind of expected it.

Great location in a very comfortable hotel, terrible breakfast service
Pros:

Location is excellent. The bonus was safe secure parking right in the centre of Canterbury. The room was clean and very well appointed. The reception staff were really attentive.

Cons:

The breakfast service was terrible. They say a continental breakfast is included. This is not a buffet and amounted to one piece of toast and a croissant which took 30 minutes to be served.. People were walking out as it was taking so long to process orders which were not for cooked breakfasts !!!!
