Its clean and nice

Friendly Staff. Clean facility
Carpet was old and left nasty smell in roo s. Filters in hvac units need to be changed as odor in rooms very unpleasant.
Roaches crawling in rooms.
I booked this hotel for my Brother James. Upon check-in the initial staff on that Saturday afternoon were pleasant and accommodating. However, this soon fizzled out.
James was nitially he was assigned a room that wreaked the smell of pee. I asked for another room and once inside it did smell and look better. However, it was freezing inside and water was seeping through the floor seams as we entered the room. As a result, we turned the air conditioner down and wiped the water from the floor which appeared to solve the problems. Later, the evening staff did not permit James to sit in the common areas of the lobby. To the contrary, James was also told to go to the back off the hotel to sit where the less desirable location was; not to mention the spiders were out backas well. He did question why other guests were allowed to use the lobby sitting area but he wasn't.
Also, when James went to eat in the morning, he was always made to wait to eat until 6:30am and/or after the hotel's front desk attendant got his breakfast first. This same attendant was less than friendly and professional during checkout early Saturday morning. I simply asked him for a roll of toilet paper for the Ladies Restroom because there was none inside. Eventhough I already asked he questioned me why I needed it and again I said for the restroom. He then questioned if I needed it for the Men's Room and I told him that I was not a man nor looked like one. Afterwhich, he got up from his seat and proceeded to walk down the hall to retrieve a roll and when he handed it to me he told me that I was supposed to use the bathroom inside of James's room and not the lobby. I told him that as the paying customer, I am allowed to use the restroom in the Lobby area.
Further, I asked for a receipt to ensure no additional charges were applied and I was denied a receipt. I was told that I would get one from Booking.com.
I have used this location two years prior, but without incident.
The staff is very friendly and make you feel like home away from home.

Plenty of parking
Gentleman working there stood at our hotel room door and watched my wife pack our stuff and get changed, would not give her privacy has we where trying to check out. Very rude and unprofessional
