Basically a modern motel - large accessible space all round. I think it was appreciated by golfers, who were present in numbers. Spacious room. All ground floor.
Very difficult to find. We took a wrong turning and got stuck on the dual-carriageway all the way to Raglan and back. Opening the dark curtains exposed us to view from the dining-patio - there were no net curtains.
Restaurant was booked up so the only place to go was the crowded bar (there was a steak house somewhere in the jumble of dual-carriageways and roundabouts, but it was too hot to bother) Location is in an out-of-town motorway junction - not pretty. Did not spy any public transport apart from taxis.
I liked how comfortable the bed was.
I didn’t like that the jacuzzi wasn’t working
Lovely staff rooms spotless wicked aircon
Room, bnreakfast & dinner
Noisy especially traffic noise
Location great, staff very friendly. Nice sized rooms. Dressing gown and slippers, tea, coffee, bottled water and delicious Welsh cakes/biscuits in the room.
£13.50 Parking charge not made clear at time of booking and is obviously there to add yet more price to the room price. Bathroom tiles slippery, bath with shower very old and not up to the standard of a hotel in this price range. Mastic sealant to tiles and floor grubby and looks very poor for a hotel of this standard. No privacy on ground floor, people looking into bedroom windows when walking outside, no net curtain so had to pull the curtains very early. £50 additional holding fee taken from card at time of check in still not returned after 5 days, assume many people forget this and it adds to the profit pot - I travel frequently and use many hotels and have not had to pay a ‘deposit’ in many a year!. No air conditioning in bedrooms, no modern phone charging points. Some bulbs weren’t working in lamps. Noise from corridors pierces the outdated doors. Generally the hotel is quite tired and overdue a refurbishment and bringing up to date to match the prices being charged.
Great convenient location. Bright and airy reception. Bar and restaurant easy to access. Rooms big and clean with lovely bedding. Swimming pool and garden very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Ckean amazing staff i loved it so posh !
Room was nice size, lunch in restaurant was tasty and well presented
The Springs Health club was very disappointing, it smelt bad in the showers and they were filthy. The steam room was grubby with hair and fluff on floor and wasn't powerful, everything just felt grubby. Hot tub was closed, I spent about 7 mins in the whole spa and that was enough. really disappointing.
Also bathroom layout was tight and awkward
Good

Staff were not the most helpful when trying to cancel an extra room due to circumstances beyond our control. They quality of the room wasn't what I expected. No sockets next to bed, quality of finishes in the room looked very tired and worn out.
Breakfast wasn't the greatest, I have had better from lower branded hotel chains.
All of it
The bed wasn’t the comfy
Big room, plenty of towels and lovely pool. Very friendly reception staff.
Not having a lift, the jacuzzi been out of order and paying for parking.
Good sized room, comfortable, good bathroom facilities, good breakfast, friendly staff
Great location and facilities
Expensive parking
Staff and beds Evan carried bags from car to room
Restaurant very American and expensive for what it offered. distance to car park no lift £13.50 to park
The staff, especially Evan were exceptionally helpful. He gave us great advice about travelling to Cardiff for a concert. And was friendly and welcoming.
