Nothing
There were people lying in the hall when i went to my room that clearly had been injecting.... they decided to have a barney at 5 in the morning. They were staying in the hotel and known to staff. Disgrace.
The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean.
The bed was very comfortable and roomy.
The facilities coffee/tea making area was clean and well stocked.
The shower was lovely and had a great temperature.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice and a very tasty full english..
The room was rather warm for my liking, even with the radiator turned off, but that's down to personal preference.
With myself having slight mobility issues due to arthritis, getting into the bath to utilise the shower was a little difficult, with the side of the bath being rather high.
Location
Dated hotel
There on business and arrived at 7 pm needing food
I am coeliac and zero options available to eat , handed allergy folder and everything on menu contained gluten . Very poor from a hotel chain . Eventually got chicken and rice after chef took pity on me
Nice spacious room. Breakfast was lovely with lots of gluten free options
There is a massive pot hole on the road just outside reception that you cannot see in the dark. Thankfully my car wasn't damaged but it won't be long before someone's car will be
Comfortable room and bed, clean and staff at reception were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the pool facilities.
With the room being quite warm, we needed the window open and the traffic noise was very loud throughout the night and looking out on the motorway and car park wasn’t all that pleasant.
Bar/restaurant very expensive.
Hair on the towel, mole in the coffee machine, coffee wasn’t nice
Excellent, friendly service.
Great value for money on the Turkey roast and dessert.
Only things missing where stuffing with the turkey and more than 1 dessert option, but for the price you can't complain.
It was lovely. Staff were lovely. And the roast dinner was brilliant.
The staff was lovely making it a welcome atmosphere all the time we was there ,the hotel is lovely and also the food and had fun playing darts,
We had such an enjoyable afternoon and evening out with friends at The Village Hotel, Liverpool.
We had a delicious sunday roast buffet and they even provided some gluten free alternatives
The staff were very friendly and helpful, special thanks goes to Jo Moss, Aimmee, Eammon, Mille, Mia and Joel. Thank you so much x
We recently had the most amazing time at Village Hotel Liverpool, and I honestly can’t thank the team enough!
There were 63 of us celebrating together, and from start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible — we had their famous Sunday roast, and it definitely lived up to the reputation. Everything was cooked beautifully and served hot, and all our guests commented on how delicious it was.
The team truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Hosting a group of our size can’t be easy, but they handled it with such professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Nothing was too much trouble.
A special thank you to Jo Moss, Aimme, Eammon, Mille, Mia and Joel — you were all fantastic! Your friendliness, organisation and positive energy made such a difference to our day.
And the DART Social experience made the night even more fun! It was such a great activity for a big group and really brought everyone together, lots of laughs and brilliant memories made.
We are so grateful for such a wonderful experience. Thank you again to the whole team — we will definitely be back! 😊
We visit the Village Regularly. The staff are always amazing and provide a level of service that goes beyond what you usually get from a Hotel Chain. A special thanks has to go to Aimee, Mia, Andy and Millie. They are absolutely amazing and are a credit to the company.
The bar staff are brilliant. Aimee, Mia, Andy and Millie are always to helpful and attentive. Definitely give these guys a raise. They are a credit to the village chain.

Text: I have always loved the Village hotels as they are easily accessible, parking is provided onsite and generally included on a business trip plus I have had access to the gym and pool.
I can’t fault the service I have received here from check-in , to the restaurant as well as room service. Everybody is so extremely smiley, welcoming helpful and they do go out of their way.
Patricia on reception was amazing and sorted me out with some decaffeinated coffee for my room, nothing was a problem to her and she genuinely loves to look after her customers, always approachable and smiling.
The bar and restaurant team have been amazing and room service was so fast and efficient.
Food has been served hot and it has been delicious too.
I cannot fault this hotel.
Recommendations would be to provide a few extra towels if here for a longer stay as well as decaffeinated coffee and tea as I would always drink this on an evening.
The breakfast was good
I had to pay for the car park on arrival had to pay to use swimming pool and my king bed was x2 singles together not ideal for a romantic night away
