Disappointing
Cons:

The rooms are outdated in terms of decor and facilities. There is no aircon, only a fan which isn’t effective enough. The walls are thin and the room I was in had through doors, so I had lots of noise from the room next door late at night. For the cost per night, it’s not worth the money.

Pros:

The beds was comfortable, staff very friendly and the whole place was clean and the food was brilliant

Cons:

Needs more plug sockets there was only 2 sockets in the whole room to use. Needs some near the bedside. There no air conditioning and the room got that hot at one point we was going to sleep in the car. We did get a fan put it wasnt good. And we was told to go on the ground floor as the upper room were even hotter. We walked past one room and there was a lady and gentleman with there door wide open cause it was so hot I even said to them as walking it hot aint it and even they looked and said unbelievably hot. There is air con in the reception and restaurant so we sat in there most of the time.

Below par
Pros:

Well kept

Cons:

Lack of hospitality and any interaction with the staff due to a poor auto check in system and staff that do not speak. Room was a double but only towels for one person, the room was 32 degrees with one fan that was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard.

Pros:

Friendly staff, lots of offers, everything we needed in our room, and tasty food. Reception staff provided water on entry and offered any additional requests.

Cons:

Chip marks in the bath, limescale build up on taps, no air conditioner. The hotel it's self was clean for the most part, but does require small fixes around the property.

Pros:

The location was good because my daughter was in Alder Hey hospital.

Cons:

Hidden charges, paid a lot of money for one nights stay, then they charge you for swimming and also parking. The T.V was unwatchable due to glitching, It was a hot day and the room was stifling hot and all that was provided was 1 cheap £5 fan from b&m for 3 people.

Nice place but I’m sure there are better offerings
Pros:

Good value but let down by having to pay £7.50 to park the car, really it’s not like it’s in the middle of a city.

Cons:

Generally a bit worn out in places, bath plug broken shower head very dirty.

Missing ac I rooms
Pros:

Location was ideal for getting in and around Liverpool by car. The gym and spa facilities, were also an added bonus, although the gym was looking a bit tired in places.

Cons:

There was no aircon in the club room, only a noisy desk fan. Which combined with this current heat and windows that only opened slightly ajar, made for a very warm stay.

Hot, uncomfortable and noisy
Pros:

Having just checked out i felt compelled to share my experience. The checking was fairly smooth but the room i was allocated was dreadful, there was no air con and the room was hot and stuffy, there was a tower fan but it wouldn't blow a candle out. The window only openned about 3 inches which didn't help, I couldn't plug the fan in near the bed as there's no sockets at the side, there was a roller blind on the window which didn't keep the light out so come 430 am it was bright, there was a function on in the hotel which shook the building and kept me awake till 1.30am. The breakfast was very poor with watery scrambled eggs and soggy hash browns, breakfast finished at 9am which is too early.
My simple advice, book somewhere else. I stay in hotels on average 180 days per year all o er the UK and Europe this is in the top 3 worst!

Ok stay. Room very basic but facilities good. Great staff
Pros:

Bar area was great especially if you wanted to watch the sport.

Cons:

Room very basic for the price. Clean but bare. Not expecting a boutique feel so don’t expect too much.
