Friendly staff
Well located off the motorway. Very large gym and large pool though see comments on gym equipment (weights) below. Good food in the restaurant. Great amount of TVs for sports fans. Lots of easy parking spaces and loads of chargers for EVs.
It is looking old and tired and needs investment. The techno gym equipment - weights machines in the otherwise excellent gym are rusty, lots of broken cables and it needs cleaning, new mats, new machines - money/investment.
Bar staff in the ground floor restaurant other than one young lad with glasses, were pretty miserable and often just were not at the bar at all - had to wait ages to get served several times. Breakfast at whopping £25 per person and very average and not worth that money. My aircon in the rooms - fans provided but it was boiling hot and the bathroom was 2 star standard, old, no handrail out of shower in bath (dangerous). Stayed 2 nights but no housekeeping provided in the room after 1st night.
Friendly staff, clean room, and very comfortable beds!
Everything was more than suitable.
The room was excellent , staff great , facilities excellent.
Was nothing , had a great stay. No negatives just positives.
Rooms were great
Bed comfortable
Restaurant great
Very pleased
Nothing really
It's a lovely location and friendly staff
No air con and some black fan that did absolutely nothing to stop the heat ..we couldn't breathe in there my wife had to leave Sunday morning and I finally gave in and left myself around 6.40
Always a great experience with extremly friendly and helpful staff (especialy Pati) who are always happy to help.
The rooms are outdated in terms of decor and facilities. There is no aircon, only a fan which isn’t effective enough. The walls are thin and the room I was in had through doors, so I had lots of noise from the room next door late at night. For the cost per night, it’s not worth the money.
