Pros:

Ein äußerst angenehmes Traditionshotel, in dem erfreulicherweise noch vieles von der ursprünglichen Substanz seiner großartigen Architektur bewahrt geblieben ist.
Die Lage in Weimar ist ebenso erstklassig.
Hervorzuheben ist zudem das hervorragende Frühstück, das von einem angenehm zuvorkommenden und aufmerksamen Service begleitet wird.

Cons:

Es scheint dem Haus an einem souveränen Concierge zu fehlen, der als kompetenter Ansprechpartner und repräsentatives Gesicht des Hauses die klassische Gastgeberrolle ausfüllt. Das Personal in diesem Bereich wirkt noch vergleichsweise unerfahren.
Für Raucher gestaltet sich der Aufenthalt bedauerlicherweise etwas beschwerlich: Mangels eines Fumoirs oder einer geschützten, angenehm gestalteten Ecke im ansonsten schönen Innenhof erweist sich das Rauchen insbesondere in der kühleren Jahreszeit als wenig komfortabel; bisweilen könnte sich der rauchende Gast dadurch sogar ein wenig schikaniert fühlen...

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, begleitet von einem stets freundlichen Personal. Die Tische boten auch genügend Abstand zueinander, dass man/frau sich sicher bewegen konnte.

Cons:

Das "GRAU" der Zimmertüren hat uns nicht gefallen; es weckt andere Assoziationen. Der Blick in den Innenhof ist eher unansehnlich; besser wählt man wohl den Blick auf Marktplatz oder Straße.
Die Preise in der Bar für Mixgetränke sind schon arg hoch.

Breakfast is super tasty, waffles are recommended. Location couldn't be better, car is lovely and drinks are tasty.

Cons:

Sauna and Fitness is a bit stuffed in a relatively small area, so don't expect a spa experience. Staff wasn't helpful showing us the way to the spa.
