Cleanliness of the room, comfort of the bed, linens had a very slight but lovely scent, the staff was incredibly helpful, the location was perfect.

* Bathrobes so you can lounge by the fireplace (ask the front desk for a Duraflame log)
* Delicious in-room breakfast with pastries from Model Bakery (their english muffins are among Oprah's favorite things)
* Tra Vigne and Gott's Roadside restaurants are nearby - great food that's surprisingly affordable for wine country
* Health Spa Napa Valley is right next door - gym, steamroom, pool and jacuzzi

It is a wonderful boutique hotel. The breakfast that was brought to the room was great. The English muffins room model bakery are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym was fully stock with the best equipment. The hotel is super convenient too.

Southbridge Inn was a beautiful, well cared for, nicely appointed and very clean hotel. The bed was excellent. Even our standard king room was beautiful and spacious. Marcel greeted us when we first entered the hotel. Her service was so very warm, personable, and highly attentive to details. She made a great first impression, and then our whole weekend followed in similarly excellent fashion. This is a wonderful establishment. I highly recommend it.

Excellent breakfast - sweet in season fruit, nice pastries, yogurt, hard-cooked eggs, freshly-squeezed oj, brought to the room every morning.
Excellent Illy machine instead of a yucky Keurig for espressos and coffee.
Definitely need more lights in bathroom-. Daytime is fine because of a skylight, but at night, the room is too dark.
A micro-fridge (instead of just a fridge) would be a simple and appreciated addition.
Need big bottles of soap, shampoo and lotion- paper single uses are wasteful

Fabulous gym/health spa that is complimentary for hotel guests - an amazing perk. The facility had a great lane pool for swimming and everything was super-clean and lovely.
Complimentary wine-tasting at next door's Merryvale Winery was fun, and the hotel is an easy five minute walk to downtown St. Helena.

The location is excellent, right off a main street in St. Helena. Super convenient to restaurants like the adjoining Italian restaurant beneath the hotel, we also went to Gott's across the street for quick eats and walked to highly rated Charter Oak. The room had plenty of space, very clean with LOTS of extras included! Too many to list like daily breakfast delivered to our room, wine glasses, keurig, spa area, etc. Also included with our stay was a complimentary wine tasting for 2 at Merryvale across the street!! $100 value!! This hotel has it all!

This is hands down the best hotel in St. Helena and Napa County. We visit Southbridge at least 2x a year. Love the staff, hotel and spa/pool. We always recommend Southbridge to friends and family.

Great check in/checkout experience, courteous staff, great location. We also love the convenience of complimentary breakfast that gets delivered to the room in the morning.

This may have been our fifth stay at Southbridge—and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The location is ideal, the service is consistently excellent, and the property itself is clean, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. It’s hospitality at its finest and never disappoints.

This hotel was a random find for us, and we were very pleased! The staff was very welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast brought to your room was a lovely touch! You choose from several options on a list the night before, specify what time you want it, and it is brought to your room. The location was perfect to walk to many tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops, but far enough away from it not to hear the noise. The spa next door has a pool and fitness center that guests can use for free. There is also a wonderful winery right next door.
