In the heart of downtown St. Helena, you'll find Southbridge Napa Valley. A darling little gem of a hotel nestled among ivy-draped walls, gravel pathways and bubbly fountains. The words intimate, informal and warm come to mind. Country manor-style rooms feature vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. French doors open onto Juliet balconies. Sneak away to Health Spa Napa Valley for a massage, mud wrap or a seat in the eucalyptus steam room. Take a swim in the heated lap pool or work out in the fitness center. No car required. A short stroll and you'll have your pick of over a dozen restaurants, ten wineries and a variety of shops and galleries. 21 spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings, king beds, wood burning fireplaces, large glass walled standing showers, French doors onto private Juliet balconies, complimentary continental breakfast, and no resort or parking fees.

Pros:

It was nice to have breakfast delivered to the room … but better to have a chchoice to be in a different spot

Lovely stay with helpful hosts!
Pros:

My husband and I were in town from the East Coast, for a family event. We added 3 days of wine-tasting to our schedule, so stayed at Southbridge for 3 nights. We booked the basic room, but it was huge (#5). Adequate-sized bathroom with nice shower/water pressure. Bed was comfortable. Our included breakfast was promptly delivered each morning, according to our specifications. The spa is steps away and had a beautiful aroma wafting from it. We would have loved to utilize it, but our schedule just didn’t allow. At the last-minute, we decided to attend the USA WC game vs Bosnia. It required a lot of juggling, but as lifelong soccer fans, we could not pass up the opportunity. The lovely staff was excited for us and allowed us to check out a day early, with no penalty. Another great perk of Southbridge is that it is conveniently located to many wineries, in the various locations of Napa. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Another great visit to Southbridge!
Pros:

Another great stay at Southbridge! From the Spa/gym on property to the Merryvale tasting room, this place hits all the right spots. Very convenient walking to downtown shopping and restaurants, and the rooms are very comfortable with morning breakfast brought to your room

Exceptional staff, clean rooms & linens, across an alley from Merryvale Vineyards - recommend!
Pros:

Cleanliness of the room, comfort of the bed, linens had a very slight but lovely scent, the staff was incredibly helpful, the location was perfect.

Cons:

We would have enjoyed better coffee options such as fresh espresso drinks, not those made with in-room Keurig-type machines. Even a self-serve coffee cart in the lobby with a simple espresso maker and milk options would make all the difference. Other than that, I loved my stay! <3

with a few changes this place can be an excellent destination
Pros:

great location we had a very large too

Cons:

breakfast was mediocre everything was wrapped in plastic as they brought it to our room, very cold we skipped it the next morning and went out elsewhere for breakfast, the spa was nice but you had to reserve a lane if you wanted to use the pool all lanes were always taken by outside members and not hotel quests

The perfect place to unwind in St Helena!
Pros:

Much needed R&R at Southbridge...
* Super comfortable bedding
* Bathrobes so you can lounge by the fireplace (ask the front desk for a Duraflame log)
* Delicious in-room breakfast with pastries from Model Bakery (their english muffins are among Oprah's favorite things)
* Tra Vigne and Gott's Roadside restaurants are nearby - great food that's surprisingly affordable for wine country
* Health Spa Napa Valley is right next door - gym, steamroom, pool and jacuzzi

The staff were wonderful and welcoming - contributing to our terrific stay. We can't wait to go back!!

It is a wonderful boutique hotel. The breakfast that was brought to the room was great. The English muffins room model bakery are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym was fully stock with the best equipment. The hotel is super convenient too.

Pros:

Southbridge Inn was a beautiful, well cared for, nicely appointed and very clean hotel. The bed was excellent. Even our standard king room was beautiful and spacious. Marcel greeted us when we first entered the hotel. Her service was so very warm, personable, and highly attentive to details. She made a great first impression, and then our whole weekend followed in similarly excellent fashion. This is a wonderful establishment. I highly recommend it.
