Excellent facilities for me and my young family.
the property was good ,the restaurant staff a little unprofessional especially the young boy he may have been a manager .
The drive to the hotel everything outside the hotel.
I booked for my nephew and his family who visited from the US. I chose Slaley over Beaumont Hotel and Travelodge at Hexham so they experience authentic stay. I went with them to see the bedroom as I was planning to book a room for me and my husband on our anniversary. It was met with a total disappointment. I was so upset and embarrassed that I felt like crying when I saw the room.
I requested for a quiet room with a good view and they got the only room on the 3rd floor where there was a scaffolding erected so this was what you saw as soon as you open your window in the morning. The fridge was not working, sofa bed was no so comfortable and the room next to the bedroom felt empty. My nephew was very polite saying it was adequate. I am not sure if there are other better rooms but I would not take the chance again. Can you forward this feedback to Slaley Hall?
Its location, beautiful grounds for walking. Spa
N/A
The original room we booked wasn't as described but staff sorted a more suitable room without any fuss. Room was lovely but a bit worn and tatty in places. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Hubby really enjoyed the pool and sauna.food in bar was really good but drinks pricey.beautiful grounds and setting.
Didn't enjoy the walk up to reception from car park
Lovely location
Facilties were tired not great value for money and no room service facilities. Spa was very dated with just one small hot tub not worth the money
Impressive building, lovely surroundings and peaceful.
