Amazing location next to marina and the beach
Pros:

Amazing location with restaurants and bars at the marina area, and a short walk to the beach.

Cons:

Hotel is not as fancy as it looks on the pictures. It is much more "tired" now and so the value for the price is no longer so good. If I would know then I might have made a different decision while selecting a hotel.

I was very impressed with Hotel Del Mar. This was my first time visiting Barcelona and I was visiting for the bad bunny concert. It's in a great location where everything is walkable. The beach is 15 mins away, restaurants, literaly right outside the hotel, by the pier. The breakfast was good and I was surprised by the options available. The room itself was nice, the shower had a rainfall and a handle. The beds were firm but comfortable, which I like as a bodybuilder. They had black out curtains to keep the heat/sunlight out. The thing I was most impressed by was the staff and customer service which prompted me to write this review. I wish I caught their names before I left (maybe it was Frank and Maria) at reception, but from the moment we arrived. We were given nothing bot hospitality. We arrived early, and they were able to store a luggage as we went out for a bite to eat. Once we came back, we were notified that we could check in early (it was 12 noon at this point). He even allowed us to pick between two rooms. There was also late check out available, it costed 25 euros, however we were able to check out by 1500. Honestly, we needed that because we were drinking til 5am and our flight was at 1630. At breakfast we were always greeted with a warm smile. The hospitality at Hotel Del Mar defintely made an impression on me for my first time in Barcelona, and I would defintely recommend it.

Cons:

The only thing was probably the A/C. It wasn't ICE cold, but with the blackout curtain it kept the room comfortable and cool.

Lovely presented hotel, clean and tidy in an ideal location very close to the port and the beach. Very lovely breakfast, plenty of choice for everyone. Public transport around the corner and walking distance to all the nice restaurants and bars.

Cons:

It was just a personal opinion that the room we stayed in the first night had the window towards the main road and it was a bit nosy for my liking but the problem was fixed the next day when the lovely staff at the reception offered us a different room that was more to our liking and we really enjoyed our stay for the remaining days.
