A beautiful building in an extremely convenient location. Easy access to the entire CBD and beyond. Room had great views of the gardens and was clean and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made our stay so comfortable. Breakfast had a lovely selection and tasted great!

The room was super spacious for us to prepare for our evening without being in each other's space. The breakfast buffet was delish and the restaurant felt luxurious. The restaurant view of the park and surrounding trees was what made it for us, we felt more grounded in preparation for our day ahead.
Nice location short walk to victoria markets..
68 dollars valae parking was a bit much..but it is the way to go as there is no parking near that is free..
We didn’t have breakfast
It was all fine
The convenience and the rates
Check in time being 3 pm when most hotels allow you to checkin by 12 pm. And it's mindblowing that they have the rooms ready for early chein at an extra rate of checking in early ( which is after 12 pmnand before 3pm)
Location
No laundry facilities
The location was quite good, as it's within easy walking distance to Queen Victoria market, Flagstaff train station and tram stop, and to coffee shops and eateries. Some of the staff were nice, especially Jaspreet at the reception counter, Romy at the breakfast place and the girl from UK at the reception place.
The checking-in process was an unpleasant experience as the hotel did not seem to have a record of my chats with them, which had details of the agreed prices and other terms of our stay. The receptionist told us their systems are being upgraded and hence the glitch. At breakfast, we were repeatedly asked to pay for the third person when in fact we had already paid for it. The breakfast spread also did not change during our four-day stay, and offered very limited options for vegetarians. The two phones in my room did not work throughout our stay, and the hotel could not fix it. The room-cleaning was not up to the mark on some of the days. We also had to ask for coffee replenishments on more than one occasion.
Rooms clean. Helpful staff. Good location
Received email in October to confirm. The accept cash in a areas of hotel. Day before arrival told now only cashless . So We could not use their bar or restaurant . Too short notice to get a travel card
We were there an hour before check in time and after long days travel were requested to pay $40.00 to check in an hour early... not good..
The hotel room was a reasonable size and it had everything you needed in it. The hotel was clean and the front desk were friendly and efficient. It is a relatively decent standard, just looking quite run down now and clearly in need of the upgrade that is planned. While it is a bit of a walk from town (not hard) being opposite the gardens is nice, and the free tram stop is closeby.
The hotel is in need of an upgrade and they are planning one this year as it has been bought. perhaps because of that it is feeling a bit run down. our hotel room had a dripping toilet and the air conditioning banged and made ticking noises that woke me up a few times. the hotel gym was nice enough, but the air con in there really isn't up to scratch and the spa and sauna are not working - and no sign or info about them, just empty and dirty, which was a bit of a let down. food in the restaurant was actually really nice, but the menu was a bit basic and the atmosphere was dated. with an upgrade i can see this being a nice play to stay.
The location was great, close to the Victoria Markets, and the staff that worked where the breakfast was served was lovely and that's where its ends for us.
Service was rude and dismissive
Bed was so hard, I didn't sleep, when asked about it was told all beds were the same, so bad then, a topper was put on and the bed was much better, if only we didn't have to have the lecture about bad backs before this happened and even at check out, let me say I don’t have a bad back, so story was pointless. Told her that she didn't listen.
Breakfast what can I say, the hot breakfast was cold and I mean cold, the coffee was yuk, the pastries were great.
We found that the place wasn't Gay friendly, we were given two single beds when we booked in, even though we booked superior King room, when asked about it, girl said I don't see a problem with that.
All and all was maybe one of the worst places we have ever stayed at.
For over 400 dollars a night they need to pick up there game big time.
