La.piscine etait tres agreable

Le parking de l'hotel a 50$ la journée. Toutefois il y a un parking a 6$ public a quelques minutes

I would like to be compensated for the inconveniences !! Not Good Very disappointed!!
Cons:

I’m sure I paid $500 plus for a Marina View. Upon arrival there were no rooms available with Marina views. I was facing a busy street looking at a building! On top of that I paid with Affirm prepaid but upon check out…. I was informed that Booking declined my virtual card. So they put the entire bill on the card I left for incidentals!! Very disappointing!!

Just want to shout out to River and Uriel who I feel were totally looking out for me in terms of helping me be quick in my in and out needs - the team there is incredibly friendly, extremely helpful and great ambassadors for the hotel as they’re the first folks you meet. Thank you!!

Poor Service, the staff don’t care
Pros:

We spent 2 nights here mid Feb. It is in a great location, with Mother beach right outside and the main beach with restaurants and bars about 10 mins walk. The room was a sea view room with balcony and the room was huge, very modern, a huge wardrobe and good size fridge. There is a pod tea and coffee machine, not Nespresso, just a random brand. The tea is awful so avoid. No kettles as a replacement either, but we were told we could just run water through the machine in a condescending way!
On check in we asked if we could pay to extend the room on the last day. We were told as we had pre-paid the room we would have to go on line and book an extra night. We booked direct, and never have I heard this before. Out of curiosity we looked but it said fully booked, which I am sure the reception person, who was not helpful at check in could have said.
We did ask another employee, on the morning of check out when we went to buy a starbucks as the room offering was undrinkable, and he said we would probably extend until 2pm but to check with the day staff. We did and they offered 1230. I asked could we meet at 1pm to be told we have people who want early check in so no. I did say we wanted a late check out and offered to pay so why does early check in take priority to be looked at blankly and shrug.
We did have the room key validated so we could access the pool area for a few hours, which was helpful. Plus the hotel stored our bags.
Overall nice hotel, good location, staff need to learn customer service.

Beautiful location but expensive
Pros:

The location right on the marina is fabulous. The outdoor restaurant serves excellent food with a view. The rooms are comfortable and the TV and WiFi worked well.

Cons:

The room AC is old fashioned units mounted in the outside wall. The LED display was broken so the unit came on and off all night.

Our room was on the "city" side and we could hear the traffic going by which at times was a little noisy.

Great stay near the beach in LA. Very safe and family friendly.
Pros:

I’m an LA local, so there’s usually no need for me to stay at a hotel—but Jamaica Bay Inn is an exception. My husband and I love staying here to enjoy kayaking, the nearby Cheesecake Factory, and a kid-friendly beach park where our two little ones can run around and have fun.

The hotel staff are all friendly and very professional. Hee Sung, the hotel manager, always makes sure we’re well taken care of. Hands down, this is the best hotel in LA. You can’t beat the location—right in front of the beach—and the restaurant offers a great variety of food. So far, everything we’ve tried has been very tasty. Highly recommended.

Pros:

l’emplacement de l’hôtel était pratique. Proche de toutes les activités prévues. la chambre était spacieuse.

Cons:

La salle de bain était "petite" pour 4 personnes et peu pratique (eau chaude/eau froide). Une des bouteilles d'eau présentée gratuite dans la chambre (étiquette accrochée à la bouteille) nous a été quand même facturée.

Pros:

We were here last year and booked again mostly due to the perfect location.

Cons:

The restaurant is under new management and unfortunately the service for breakfast was very slow. My understanding is that it is a different owner than the hotel.

Spectacular location and environment
Pros:

The Jamaica Bay Inn staff are all top notch-from Manager to the person greeting you at the parking lot. The interior is clean, aesthetically very nice and welcoming, and the view of the marina and location make it feel like a getaway no matter your reason for being there!
