Jamaica Bay Inn Marina Del Rey Tapestry Collection by Hilton

A very good location- Marina Del Ray is a nice quiet area of LA to stay in- but also within walking distance of Venice Beach (about 20-30mins walk). The room was huge- and very nicely decorated. Room had good facilities in provided toiletries and also had a safe. A good smart TV also that includes all apps - which you need to sign into your own accounts for to use. Also has a vending machine for snacks - which is usual as there are not that many shops that close by. The hotel also has an attached restaurant- and the food was nice there.
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. The entire staff was amazing and really made my stay feel warm and welcome. This hotel is in a great location walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. I was in and out of valet throughout my stay and Darwin and Rogelio took great care of me and always had my car outside ready to go.

I will be returning to this hotel in the future!

L’hotel est idyllique. Très bien placé, le restaurant a une grande terrasse qui donne sur la plage. À 10 minutes à pieds de Venice beach et du Pier c’est rapide pour aller admirer les couchers de soleil. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité. C’est un très bel endroit.

Check in and check out process was super easy. Everyone was super nice. Hotel was pretty and rooms were very spacious. Maybe not the best location for a family vacay…. Seems to be an older crowd and restaurant was certainly not family friendly or family-budget friendly. Beds and shower were great. View over Marina was OK.

Just want to shout out to River and Uriel who I feel were totally looking out for me in terms of helping me be quick in my in and out needs - the team there is incredibly friendly, extremely helpful and great ambassadors for the hotel as they’re the first folks you meet. Thank you!!

We spent 2 nights here mid Feb. It is in a great location, with Mother beach right outside and the main beach with restaurants and bars about 10 mins walk. The room was a sea view room with balcony and the room was huge, very modern, a huge wardrobe and good size fridge. There is a pod tea and coffee machine, not Nespresso, just a random brand. The tea is awful so avoid. No kettles as a replacement either, but we were told we could just run water through the machine in a condescending way!
On check in we asked if we could pay to extend the room on the last day. We were told as we had pre-paid the room we would have to go on line and book an extra night. We booked direct, and never have I heard this before. Out of curiosity we looked but it said fully booked, which I am sure the reception person, who was not helpful at check in could have said.
We did ask another employee, on the morning of check out when we went to buy a starbucks as the room offering was undrinkable, and he said we would probably extend until 2pm but to check with the day staff. We did and they offered 1230. I asked could we meet at 1pm to be told we have people who want early check in so no. I did say we wanted a late check out and offered to pay so why does early check in take priority to be looked at blankly and shrug.
We did have the room key validated so we could access the pool area for a few hours, which was helpful. Plus the hotel stored our bags.
Overall nice hotel, good location, staff need to learn customer service.

The location right on the marina is fabulous. The outdoor restaurant serves excellent food with a view. The rooms are comfortable and the TV and WiFi worked well.

Nice to have a restaurant on the premises, was close to family event we were attending.
