We were extremely pleased with our stay at Malmaison in Leeds.
Everything about it was excellent and it is is one of the best hotels we have stayed in the UK for sometime.
The staff were very friendly and professional, our room (a club twin) was very clean and comfortable. We were on half board and the food was excellent and good valve for money.
The hotel had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make our visit as an enjoyable as possible.
The centre of Leeds has a wide selection of shops, and some lovely buildings of architectural interest.
We hope to return next year.
Great staff, so friendly and helpful. Just an overnight stopover, but I was made so welcome. Food was excellent and had a great nights sleep. I would highly recommend it.
just wanted to say maria the receptionist was remarkable & made the stay great. will be back again
Really handy location, 5 minutes from train station and shops. Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. Room not ready but left our bags and went shopping.! Room was spacious and clean. Separate bath and shower. Bar a bit dark but comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of choice and no hot buffet, ordered and brought to your table. Would definitely recommend and stay at again.
Brilliant hotel for city stay.
Absolutely perfect. Staff could not do enough.
Zeinab on reception is an absolute credit to this place. Huge thanks for a wonderful stay team Leeds.
We had a fantastic stay at Leeds Malmaison the room was lovely and big, the bed was very comfortable and Zenab the receptionist went above and beyond to make my birthday stay extra special.
We booked the 'Date night 'package and found our stay perfect from start to finish.
We were greeted by Neinab on reception where she reviewed the details of our stay, she also organised a change of booking time for our evening meal at our request. She was very professional and kept us upto date with the changes, she was very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We dined at the hotel restaurant again the Staff made the experience special and the food was amazing ( didn't get the name of the guy who served us but he was very professional)
We are already planning a further visit, a big shout out for all the staff we met.
Exceptional experience and Maria was an absolute joy at check-in. Highly recommend.
Only stayed one night. Service was spot on throughout my stay. I’ll be back. Thank you
Great stay at Malmaison Leeds, the team were friendly and helpful, location is excellent, nice room looking onto the river. Dinner was superb, + lovely £8 cocktail deal before 7pm, and excellent service from Jade who looked after everyone well on a busy evening. Highly recommended
The lady in the bar with red hair was rude and seems racist. Didn't have a good experience in the bar.
First time we have stayed at this hotel, the staff were so friendly, lovely and clean and was very impressed with our room. Breakfast was also nice we had the full english. I said to reception on checking out we will definetly stay again.
Great location and friendly staff. In particular there was one member of staff who went above and beyond to make my business trip needs run well, Dylan who worked in the Restaurant and Bar area. He was incredibly helpful, courteous and professional. I would return to this hotel for business, based on the fact of how well he treated my colleague and I. First class service.
I stayed for 1 night, excellent room, super comfy bed and pillows. The food was great and the service from everyone exemplary, will definitely stay again.
We were booked in for a 2 course Sunday lunch at 3.00pm on Sunday 15 February 2026. The whole experience was delightful from the professional and friendly service of our waitress and other staff, the whole ambience of the dining room, the building itself and the excellent food. However, unfortunately, we were offered the chefs table as a starter course but there was very little selection available. A few salads, coleslaw and a small platter of continental meats. The table was replenished with four prawn cocktails but nothing else so, from the aspect of lack of choice and variety, it was not the best. However, having said that, the Main course sunday lunch of beef and all the trimmings excelled itself, including the Waltons family size yorkshire pudding which adorned the plate. Light as a feather yet lovely and crispy. So, apart from the disappointing Chefs Table, we would definitely go again, but perhaps try to get an earlier seating.....
Absolutely fantastic stay, all the staff are great, however Abby at Breakfast was a standout. In a world where great customer service is difficult to find, Abby was a shining light.
We stayed here for an overnight on a dinner b&b basis. Location was very central with shops, restaurants, museums and art galleries all within walking distance. Room was a standard double with a nice view of the bridge and river.
Food was amazing in the brasserie; we had the stone bass and the steak as part of our deal and both were excellent. Special shout out to Alessandro the restaurant manager who was friendly, attentive to everyone and generally very good at his job. Thanks for a great stay!
Had a fantastic stay. Room was beautiful and massive. Loved being able to.look out on what was going on. All staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - as were the.cocktails. Going to be out go to place when we stay in Leeds from now on.
A disappointing stay. Arrived and checked in easily. Walked in (room 106) and initially very pleased with the room. Blinds shut and it was dark so went to open and realised they both looked out on skips and that’s why they had been shut. Went out and came back to the room like fridge. Heating wouldn’t come on. Reported to reception and they brought up a heater which warmed the room but the bathroom remained freezing and bathroom floor so cold to walk on. The throw on the bed was disgusting and something that looked like poo on the underside. Woken at 7 by a skip being filled with bottles. Hotel a great location but avoid room 106!
We hosted our work Christmas party here in December for the second year in a row and it was once again excellent. The food, service, staff were all incredible and worked so well with all third party vendors to make sure the party was exactly how we wanted it to look and feel! Highly recommend!
