Disspponting that our Sudney trip was marked by a bad stay

Cons:

The tap in the bathroom did not work. No bedding for our son. The pullout bed was broken. The fridge door did not close. The food in the breakfast was cold.

Pros:

Super friendly staff, Andy the night manager and Betty the day manger were just lovely and very helpful. Mohammed the security guard was also very nice, and we had some nice chats :-)

Late night overlay - OK for a rest.
Pros:

Sent here by Qantas due to PPPlanning when they failed to connect us to our onward flight (hopeless!). Why they chose to send us a 1/2 hour taxi ride from the airport is anyone's guess.
However...
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful , rooms were clean, if a little "tired", beds were comfy and linen was nice. Good pressure in the shower.
Breakfast buffet had a wide ranging selection from hot to cold, cereals, fruit, various teas and coffee.
Can't comment on any other food as there wasn't a lunch offering and we had to be back at the airport before the restaurant opened.

Staff were great

Cons:

Beds are very old and sunken mattress.
Fold out bed was broken and unusable.
Replaced with a roll out bed at 11pm that was also broken.
Very uncomfortable sleep.

I was disappointed.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Cleanliness, lamp didn’t work, AC didn’t work. No shower hat. Needs an update and routine service. Paid for breakfast. Was packing it up before 10am. Didn’t get one. No big deal, just wanted an egg on toast.

Cons:

The hallways smell badly the hotel is very outdated for the money, rooms very outdated fridge didn’t really work the freezer section was frozen solid, needs an overhaul desperately there was used dinner plates etc all along the hallway not removed not a great look
