Nice place but old place
Pros:

I liked the beach and meals. I also liked the proximity with Bahamar and the views in the lobby.

Cons:

I didn't like the old furniture in the rooms and lobby. I think it needs a major renewal (sofas, room doors, chairs, TV).

Fantastic week of March 20-27th
Pros:

My review from March 20-27.
Check in once we arrived was quick and helpful. The lady was very friendly and informative, explaining where we could get food and where some areas of the resort were.
Once settled and after exploring the grounds, we loved the charm of the resort. It is clean, and staff are very friendly. We were always getting good morning as we walked by, we enjoyed chatting with the staff, always taking their time to listen and answer our questions. I love the smaller resorts and this is now my favourite.
Our room. It was an ocean view, and I mean ocean view. We would walk out the door and you were pretty much on the sand, at the ocean. The housekeeping was top notch. Bedding changed daily, she did an amazing job daily cleaning.
Food....I don't even know what to say. It was totally amazing. Lots to choose from. We even gained a few pounds from eating so well.
Beach. We are beach lovers. Wide, private beach with lots of space - arguably the nicest stretch of Cable beach. We didn't swim much due to the amount of seaweed in the ocean, very wavy. Not anyone faults but Mother Nature. We can't wait to come back next year and see the beach at its calm, perfect nature.
Safety....we felt 100 percent safe. During the day we got on the bus 10 or 12B which stops frequently on the main road near the resort and went downtown. The bus was totally safe, and everyone was kind and very talkative. Walking around we felt safe. At night time we would walk next door to the casino and watch the water light show.
Would we return. 100 percent, already looking into booking next year. We love this resort, it felt like our home for the week. We are missing all the staff already and the beauty of the resort and its beach.

Went in with an open mind
Pros:

As I stated in the title, we went to Breezes with an open mind. We read all reviews ahead of time. Wanted to see Bahama beaches and the value for all inclusive was worth trying to us. As many stated rooms are outdated, but housekeeping cleaned daily. Bed was comfy. Everything worked in our room, shower was hot and ac was ok. We booked ocean view and were put on top floor. Our room had a fridge in it which was not expected. View was gorgeous.
Food was just ok, we ate one night at Bahamar (not a bad walk) and another at Atlantis. Spent some time at the casino next door, free drinks if your playing and better quality over at Bahamar.
Drinks were limited if you wanted something special, but overall what we drank we enjoyed.
Coffee was not good, they had it in a machine which comes out like water. During breakfast time they did put out different coffee but still not great.
Now let’s talk spring breakers, we knew there would be many, and I have to say they didn’t bother us. It was actually fun watching them enjoy your time! Had conversation we some and learned what school they were from. Yes it’s a loud resort and music is loud throughout the day at the pool but we spent much of our time at the beach.
Never had trouble getting drinks, they came to us before the spring breakers.
Water is cold in pool, and ocean was also chilly but plenty of people in both.
If you wanted to escape the spring breakers, there’s a piano bar that is 25 plus and was enforced while we were there. Spent a lot of our time after dinner there. Suggestion get that bar a fountain system for soda. They use cans and have to keep getting restocked. Couldn’t even get water in there.
All staff were friendly never had any issues with unfriendly staff. We tipped all that served us It was appreciated.
Overall we had a great time, not sure if we would return. Beach was the highlight!

11 day long nightmare
Pros:

We stayed at The Breezes from 15 March 2026 for 11 nights on an all inclusive basis.

On arrival, late at night, after travelling for 19 hours we were met by The Receptionist advising us it was Spring Break and they were going to put us on the 7th floor as it is ‘quieter’. Unbeknown to us this set the scene for the holiday. No porter/concierge service available or no drink on arrival.
The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily with beds and towels changed daily; most days the maid left towel
Sculpture on the bed which was a nice touch. Bed is large and comfortable. The rooms are very dated. Our room and I believe all rooms have a Juliet Balcony which means you cannot sit outside. Our balcony door did not open and even when reported was not fixed for the duration of our stay. Our room door/lock failed on several occasions; when reported to maintenance the issue was fixed very quickly. No fridge or tea
And coffee making facilities in the room. We
Did ask for tea making but were only given coffee!! All doors are circa 1970s wooden and need to be slammed to close. Behind each door there is a sign which says ‘always double lock your door !!’ (Very unsettling). AC worked well but was very noisy which disturbed our sleep, coupled with slamming doors, spring break revellers and loud rap music until midnight most nights disturbed our sleep. I genuinely feel I need a holiday after this experience. The food in the main is ok however unexciting and always lukewarm. I always opted for an omelette for breakfast as it was freshly made and hot. The beach is very nice but the sun loungers are not as advertised unless you pay through the nose! ($100 per day for a cabana with cushions and butler service). They are very uncomfortable (rock hard to be exact) and lots are broken. The bar is 5-7 deep with Spring Breakers however the bar staff work very hard and do positively attempt to serve all other guests before the Breakers. There is very little to do at this hotel if you are not a spring breaker. The hotel prioritises cruise day trippers over paying guests and we were asked to move to accommodate day trippers. There is security everywhere and police on site at night due to the spring breakers. It’s really an awful environment. The hotel staff told me they are paid £150 dollars to
Clear up vomit and that regularly happens even in the pool. Needless
To say I only went in the pool (which is always cold) once.
The hotel staff are mostly helpful and pleasant but you can see they are run ragged accommodating the relentless onslaught of breakers which just keep coming. Advertised as a non-smoking hotel yet guests vape and smoke everywhere and are NEVER challenged.
There are a lot of things I could continue to fairly critique but I think you get this gist. Would I visit again ? Not even if it was free!!!!

Great value
Pros:

Had a great time at Breezes, staff are really good and friendly, food has a good choice and apart from the white wine ( not sure whats going on there) the drinks are all of a very good standard.
Lickily enough we left on the first day of spring break ( this was warned about on the web site though) and spent an enjoyable 12 nights there.
Well positioned, short bus ride to town and right on a lovely beach.

Not worth the money
Pros:

The bar at the beach is horrible. Bad quality of drinks and they offer just the local beer which is not even like a beer. The customer service attention on those bars is terrible.

All inclusive day pass on cruise stop
Pros:

We visited Nassau for the day on a cruise and my research led me to see that Breezes is the best bang for your buck to spend the day at the beach with it being all inclusive! I went to book online, and it said that there were no more daily passes available. So I decided to call the resort and Ms. Margo took my name and ensured me that our party of six would have day passes reserved at the desk. When we arrived Randesha called Ms. Margot to verify our ticket reservation. Randesha was very thorough in explaining to us what was included and gave us a very warm and friendly Bahamian welcome. I would definitely recommend Breezes to anyone, the resort was clean and bright, the employees and service was friendly helpful, and the service was great. The drinks were good, the food was yummy and the beach was beautiful! If we come back to Nassau, we look forward to visiting Breezes again and hopefully we get to see Randesha and meet Ms. Margot so I can thank her in person. As other reviews have said, keep in mind, that March is Spring Break time. So the resort was definitely busy with college-age students. For the most part, there was nothing too ruckusy happening and the kids were respectful and friendly and fun.

Try RIU Paradise Island Instead
Pros:

We knew for the most part what we were getting into before our visit. I had passed on visiting this resort for many years some may say avoiding it. We did end up going as family chose it as an affordable option. It is one of only a few remaining all inclusive resorts on the island but it is also one of the oldest properties. Gone are the glory days of the Ambassador and the Playboy Casino. As noted by other reviewers this hotel needs a lot of TLC. Dated doesn't really cover it. It is however very clean and well kept in most spaces. The beach is the star of the show here, its the saving grace of the resort. The food is not good and usually cold. The drinks were just ok. The service, I have heard of this phenomenon but this is the first time I have experienced it. Tipping for service, the wait and bar staff were almost rude at first exposure. Once you started tipping they warmed right up, as long as you kept tipping they were great. Not much else to say, if someone gifted me a trip here I may return but I wouldn't spend my money here. It is nice and close to Baha Mar which is a very short walk away. We spent a bunch of time there exploring how the other half lived. Any future visit to Nassau will be to Baha Mar or Atlantis again. Much more expensive and not all inclusive but worth it.

Side note: Ava in the Italian restaurant should not be a server, maybe gardening is a better career path for her. The less people she interacts with the better, being a forward facing employee is detrimental to the already struggling hotel.

Good food, outdated place.
Pros:

The resort is very outdated. Food is good and staff is excellent. Talked a lot to Brian (manager), Mariana (sanitation), and End. Very friendly place. Not much to do though.

Avoid if you're over 16 years old!
Pros:

Avoid! Filthy beach and pool area, broken loungers and zero service. On day 1 no beer at the pool bar, on day 2 no drinking water at pool bar (only bar open during the day) and no running water in the room. Phone also broken in room so 8 levels down to report everything. By end of day 2 we couldn't take any more and left, hotel totally unhelpful with travel agent in relation to this. We'd flown from the UK and this was supposed to be a dream holiday.

Please also be aware this hotel is set up for teenagers and the hotel staff will spend their time chatting them up, lying on loungers instead of serving guests or cleaning up.

Also avoid hays travel/USA airtours who booked this and don't care once you've paid.

Don't go here during spring break
Pros:

Breezes funnels in hundreds of spring breakers. They all crowd the bar and the buffet so you can't get a drink or eat. We had to buy our own booze and ordered pizza.

Disgrace
Pros:

We arrived and expected a dated hotel which was correct, the hotel is in major need of investment, this hotel is falling well behind others on the island. The rooms are basic but clean. We had issues with the rooms, no tv remote, phone broken and no water to the sink or shower for a period. The food was alright for what we ate in the hotel. The drinks are poor ran out of beer and were hot helpful, cocktails are awful and service at the pool bar is shocking. The rest of the staff are good and will smith did try and sort issues but they are beyond his control. The pools are filthy and the beach was as well. The sunbeds are not ideal and dated. Overall the place is shocking and would ruin holidays. We left on the second day of a seven day holiday.

BREEZES BAHAMAS RESORT GETAWAY
Pros:

If you like an honest and in depth review, then please keep reading.
My husband and I picked the Breezes Bahamas Resort for our Anniversary getaway.
We went from February 7th - February 18th, 2026. Breezes is one of the few All Inclusives available in the Bahamas. The reasons for picking this Resort was because we wanted to try some place different than Mexico and it was in our price range. Previous reviews showed a beautiful Beachfront, and because their website said they had a 100% Smoke Free policy. Reviews also mentioned that it was an older Resort and that the room furniture was dated and yes, we can agree to that but found our room to be very clean and even more importantly, everything in the hotel room was in proper working order (TV, sink, toilet, and shower). The room we stayed in was #372 because we specifically requested and actually got a King size bed (a bit on the soft side but quite comfortable). It was located in the East wing of the Resort, not facing the pool/music, therefore much quieter and it had a pretty good Oceanview. For some reason, this Resort was built without balconies! There were sliding doors but the railing was just a foot out from the window so there was no sitting out enjoying the Oceanview with a glass of wine. The Blackout Curtains worked well for keeping out the early morning sun but we had a hard time opening and closing them. The Curtain Rod and wheels could maybe use a bit of 'WD 40' to help. (Just a note to Resort Management: if you look at the room windows from the pool deck, you can see some room curtains have hooks off and should be attended to for better appeal)
Although the Resort was All Inclusive, it is NOT like Mexico where the in room fridge would be stocked with bottled water, pop and beer. At Breezes Bahamas, if you want a fridge in your room, they will charge you $75 U.S. per day extra and it would be $125 per day extra if you wanted the fridge to be stocked! Also, they do not serve drinks at the Pool or on the Beach, you have to go up to the Pool Bar, except when you rent a Beach Cabana for $80-$100 U.S. per day, then you would be set up with chairs, towels and private drink service all day.
My husband and I both found the food to be good at the Resort. The buffet had a nice variety for Breakfast 7:30AM-10:00AM, Lunch 12:30PM-2:30PM, and Supper 6:30PM-10:00PM and it's better to be there earlier than later for optimum selections. The Buffet Staff was quite pleasant but they couldn't get it together to quickly clean away dirty dishes and lay out fresh napkins, utensils and water glasses for the next customers waiting for a table to sit down and eat. Too many tables sitting dirty for too long! The Resort has three Al a Carte restaurants but they weren't all open on the same night. Also, you CAN'T make reservations! You have to STAND IN LINE (Sometimes NO chairs available to sit outside the restaurant to wait. It would be in Management's best interest to make chairs or benches are available especially for those with Mobility issues!) Apparently, there are two sittings when the restaurants are open, 6:00PM or 7:30PM. The choices of restaurants were Martinos serving Italian fare, Munasan serving Asian Fusion, and Garden of Eden that suggests a romantic surrounding and serving more of a Caribbean fare? We ate at all 3 and recommend Martinos and then secondly, Munasan. For Lunch or Afternoon snacks, we highly recommend the Pool Snack Bar! They serve tasty grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with fries; Fish and Chips, Conch Fritters (our favourite, you have to try them!); Jerk Chicken; and Crab topped Greek Salad.
When you're in need of towels for the Pool or Beach, the Towel Hut is located at the far end of the Pool across from the Snack Bar. But watch out for the Towel Girl! She takes her job seriously and will NOT hand out any towels until precisely when the clock strikes 8AM! LOL!
What the Breezes Bahamas really has going for it, is the white, clean sandy beach and beautiful blue ocean area! And as previously mentioned, we booked the Resort because their website stated that it had a 100% Smoke free policy. That is a joke! People were smoking and vaping at the Pool and the Beach where we spent most of time. There was NO enforcement whatsoever!
Breezes allows Peddlers to sell their wares on the Beach. They don't harass you but you can get tired of listening to the Conch Shell Man and the Flute seller. You'll see what were talking about after being there after a day. LOL! You can buy Cigars, jewelry, bathing suit wraps and hair braiding everyday. They also come by to sell all kinds of tourist activities in the area. Breezes doesn't provide Water sport activities but they are available for rental on the Beach, past the Resort's property line. There are boat tours, Seadoo rentals, Parasailing and the new fad of Luxury Waterjet Cars! (See attached pictures)
We still enjoyed staying at Breezes Bahamas even though it had a few shortfalls. If you're looking for a reasonably priced All Inclusive with a nice Beach in the Bahamas, then this is the place for you but we heard it is best to avoid the Springbreak dates when the College kids are having their fun!

Great time a d staff but needs a facelift
Pros:

As most of the reviews stated its an older resort that needs a face-lift. The staff are amazing, alcohol is not watered down like some other places. Treat your bartender well and you won't have any issue.

Food was disappointing, I dont want tacos on Tuesday's, I want shrimp and lobster, more sea food less chicken and beef.
