Pleasant short stay. Busy and lively. Generally good condition

Generally a nice atmosphere. Very busy. Room was a decent size and nicely done out. Little shoddy in places but in general not bad at all. Breakfast very nice indeed.

Pros:

Staff were very helpful and understanding. They were also very flexible with check. What really stood out for me is that they were approachable to talk to. They were very compassionate about my situation due to becoming unwell leading to hospital admission over the night of my stay, they allowed me to extend my check out till 1pm. The staffs were so full of compassion and kindness.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing
I will definitely go back to this Holiday Inn when next I am in Portsmouth.

I enjoyed my stay overall
Pros:

The selection was good, but the hot breakfast was not hot, just warm on each morning. It was tasty though and set me up for the day.

Cons:

The prices of the soft drinks, I paid over £6 for 2 bottles of pop!!
