I enjoyed the night receptionist I had as she was very informative, welcoming and kind. The complementary coffee was a great touch, especially for my mother. I did not stay at the pool but it look really nice. The hotel room other than the roaches I found was really nice and organized. The beds and bathroom looked nice and it was cozy to sleep in, and the wifi was good even though we were at the back. The free breakfast was delicious and I was glad to see that it was opened really early as we had to leave by 6:30. Overall a pleasant stay.
I did find about two dead cockroaches in my hotel room, one near the trash can and the other in the closet, which was not something I would have wanted to see. The receptionist in the morning was also not present for a few minutes as he was in the back while I was in the lobby and I needed to drop off my key as we were on a time crunch.
The location was convenient. The kids liked the pool.
There was a broken toilet/plumbing issue that flooded a large part of the room while we were away all day. Our belongings got wet, and we were left to deal with them on our own. We were moved to the room next door, but the leaked water came into this one on one side, unbeknownst to us. Clothes and books on that side got wet and sat on the wet carpet for a week, producing a bad moldy situation. When I wanted to report the wet, moldy area during checkout, so another family wouldn’t be exposed to the hazardous situation, I was very disappointed to hear the maintenance staff tell me they “figured the water would be in the second room, because water keeps spreading and seeking lower ground” and they planned to clean it out after we left! So we were exposed to a hazardous condition for a week, known to them, but not us, until we were packing up to leave. Paying a business almost $1,000 (8 nights, 9 days) to endanger our health does not create a good relationship. Sleeping in the bed next to the moldy area was our disabled daughter, as if struggling through Life with a traumatic brain injury isn’t enough of a challenge, now we face mold exposure concerns. Also in the room were her two parents, in our 70s and her service dogs. We feel the first “flood” was just an unfortunate maintenance problem but putting us in a room they were well aware of the dangers of, is truly negligent if not criminal. We will not stay there again.
The size of the room was very nice and so was the price

The breakfast was really good my toddler loved it also we did too
When i got there to check in the guy was not friendly no greeting he looked very creepy. It was 10:10 am and the lady from house keeping was knocking on the door that if we were gonna check out.omg lady im getting my stuff together we had too rooms 117 and 118 that was not cool and she was standing outside the room waiting for us to leave the check out time is at 11am .
