It was a useful location for us and did the job, but we would not use it again in the summer months.
Pros:

Buzzy atmosphere with much coming and going to the gym, an open bar and dining area, and a Starbucks coffee shop. Smart if brash interior decoration.

Cons:

No air conditioning in the room. In the hot weather we had, our room was almost unbearable. A large and noisy electric fan was provided to ease the temperature but the windows could only be opened a small way. When we arrived we found the toilet had been used but not flushed.

Pros:

Friendly staff and clean hotel.

Cons:

No air-conditioning in rooms for such a large hotel is shocking. The fan in the room was louder than a jet engine!

Uncomfortable
Pros:

None of it, room was clean only good thing.

Cons:

Breakfast was £5 cheaper if you paid on booking in , making it £12 rather £17. Decided not to do either, as breakfast should be £12! The rooms were unbearably hot ; but air con in corridors !, no sleep can’t open windows. Poor menu at bar. No fridge in rooms - not able to keep water cold in very hot room . Not happy

Convenient location with very friendly staff; shame about the refurbishment happening but would happily stay again.
Pros:

Good location, very friendly staff who were very helpful at check in and check out. The breakfast was well-run and it was easy to use the buffet. The breakfast had good quality ingredients.

Cons:

It was difficult to find my room in the annexe due to a refurbishment going on. I had to go out a fire door and back in another fire door, rather than use the corridor that was being refurbished. The staff explained it well to me, but it was still confusing and I felt I was going out of doors I shouldn’t be using.
Also, the Dyson fan was missing a remote so I had to figure out how to use the one button on the fan to get it to cool.

Pros:

The location

Cons:

Room was too hot only with one 1 tiny old fan. We never sleep because of the heat. Some room have air cool and some don't have. At least for those rooms that don't have an air con, it should have 2 fans each

Not worth the money! Go elsewhere
Pros:

In process of renovation. Avoid until over as its a building site. The room numbers not clear. We had to go through corridors with ripped up carpets. Paid £178 for night. Dyson fan in the room as no aircon. But it sounded like a bloody jet plane it was that noisy. There was mold in our bathroom and the lift was gaffa taped inside so no idea what floor to go to. Tools in hallway l, screws on the floor. All in all so cery disappointing. Made a complaint. Got a generic sorry. Will not be staying here again neither will we recommend

Dont stay until renovation over. Its not safe
Pros:

Location suited us

Cons:

It appears to be in process of being renovated. But did not make us aware of this. The rooms are not clearly marked. We had to travel through a dangerous hallway with ripped up carpets and nails on the floor. The lift didnt say dont use but when we hot in all the floor sigbs had gaffa tape over them. There was no aircon in the room. There was a dyson fan which soubds like an aeroplane taking off. All together so very disappointing and really expensive for such a poor stay. Oh and 8 forgot the awful damp patches on barhroom ceiling and shower that takes ages to drain

Happy repeat customer
Pros:

Easy to check in & out, nice bar downstairs, rooms are comfortable & clean and great location

Cons:

No air con, noisy at night at the front of the building. Cheap detergent in hand wash causes irritation.
