Pleasantly surprised

Overall our stay was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros:

The breakfast was good although we had breakfast only once. The flatbread we had one evening was really good.

Cons:

1) the lighting in the bathroom was dull and not conducive to doing makeup or getting ready. 2) No full mirror. 3) Awkward placement of the TV to the bed. 4) Room cleaning was available only every other day

I like it for its location and staff in the reception is nice.

Cons:

One more thing I found quite uncomfortable was the housekeeping/check-out situation. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m., but a staff member knocked on my door at around 9:30 a.m. If I had not responded, I felt they might have entered the room. I am not sure whether they were trying to clean the room or check if I had left, but I have rarely experienced this at other hotels.

It was quite unsettling, because I could still have been sleeping or not fully dressed at that time. Since the official check-out time is 11:00 a.m., guests should be able to stay in the room until then without feeling rushed or disturbed. The early knock made me feel as if I was being pushed to leave before the agreed check-out time.
