The location of this hotel is excellent. Right on the Beltline with easy access to 17th Street which is a very lively street. I had a room facing the parking lot on the upper floor. The sunrise view is fantstic.
We had a short stay this week and came away impressed. Awesome location walk able to all the action on 17 Ave and only 10 block to Stampede grounds. Older hotel but updated, our king room was very spacious with a small kitchenette. Breakfast had the usual complimentary offerings, staff were all very friendly, and prices reasonable. It was perfect and I would stay here again when visiting downtown area.
Location is ok, away from most of the homeless/addicts which are everywhere in Calgary. It took about 10 minutes to walk to the C-Train free zone.
I was on the 15th floor which had great city/skyline views.
The suites are exactly as shown in the photos, very big with a living room, kitchenette and bedroom. The decor is a bit dated but this is common with BW hotels. The bathroom was quite big with a bath and shower (I was traveling on my own, families may not feel the same way), and the water pressure was fine. The kitchenette had a kettle, toaster, oven, microwave and so was good. The water in the room tasted weird so I had to go to the ground floor for drinking water - bring a water bottle.
The gym was extremely small. The sauna was mostly switched off when I went to use it, and the door was broken so didn't fully shut meaning it never heated up fully. It took so long to heat up I only managed to use this once during my stay which was a shame, as without a pool there wasn't much else to do. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good with sweet/savoury options. The savoury options alternated each day.
I’m in town a fair bit for various reasons and this hotel has been my favourite so far. Really friendly staff, things feel clean and updated, the breakfast buffet is quite nice. My rooms are always comfortable and relatively quiet. Really impressed.
Had the underground parking garage door close on my truck and all they offered was free parking
I went for an anniversary and it was the worst way to start the weekend
Also watched multiple people hit there car doors off other cars and just walk away due to the small size of the parking
If you want a place that actually cares about your possessions this place is not it
Easy walk to restaurants, supermarkets, train & bus.
The location is great. Our room was room 960 on the 9th floor. It had two queen size beds, a big desk, a kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette. The size was great. The bathroom was ok but a little tight. When you go in, you must go to the side of the toilet or behind the door to actually close as it layout is very awkward. If you sit on the toilet you cannot close the door so i stead of these doors, they should invest into pocket doors. The shower head water pressure was a bit low. There are laundry/drier facilities which we used once. They take coins(bring your own pods and dryer sheets). The breakfast was very simple but hood enough for this type of hotel. There were two types of (buffet-style) breakfast alternating from day to day. No veggies, but apples and oranges available. Coffee, tea, juice, water, eggs scrambled or omelette, plus boiled , toast, bagels, muffins, bacon, sausages, oatmeal, make yourself yogurt station parfait, make yourself waffles, milk, cereal. I wish there were fresh veggies available.
There is a sauna and a gym which we did not use do to leaving very early each day on our tours and coming back late.
Front desk staff - fantastic. Thank you!
However, the house cleaning was not so good. Beds not made well, some products not replenished so
we had to write a note next day. Used bottles of shampoo or conditioner not-picked up from the tub any day!
These things should be noted, but overall, a g
Cleanliness
Had a great stay, room was very comfy and clean. Hotel was in a very convenient location close to a lot of great restaurants and the shopping centre
Diana is an absolute angel. I arrived after an overnight flight while sick with the flu, and she went above and beyond to check me in early. She was so kind and accommodating — truly a lifesaver. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I really, really appreciate the exceptional service.
Diana was exceptionally friendly and professional. Her warm smile and great service made our stay unforgettable! thank youuu
Accessible

Excellent value for price
Pleasant stay.
A destination as part of a planned roadtrip between Salt Lake City and Calgary. Wonderful hotel. Walking distance to light rail, and an easy ride to downtown for some excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping.
