Very happy with the hotel

Walking distance to the train station and to the main attractions in Florence. Staff were friendly and room cleaned every day

Breakfast was good. Room was quiet nice.

Cons:

Never book a family room in this hotel. As they gave us with stairs up and down. Even having lift , after that had to go through many stairs and far away . But they didn’t want to refund my case payment as we refused to stay in that room. After one hour of argument they gave two separate rooms at 11.00pm . Those rooms were good but tired up to fight with them . So stay was not good overall.

Pros:

Very simple to get to from Santa Maria Novella Train station where we arrived from with our two kids. A short stroll to the Duomo, and to central. The staff were genuinely helpful friendly and welcoming. Such a pleasure.

Lata świetności ma za sobą

Pomocna, życzliwa obsługa. Codzienne sprzątanie pokoju. Piękne lobby. Znakomita lokalizacja. Względnie dobry wybór na śniadaniu.

Cons:

Hotel piękny, z olbrzymim potencjałem, niestety jednak bardzo zaniedbany i ewidentnie wymaga odświerzenia. Odrapane meble (łącznie z recepcją) Zapuszczona łazienka, fatalna osłona prysznica - woda wylewa się poza wannę (na szczęście personel nie żałował ręczników i był bardzo pomocny) Wanna duża i wygodna, ale odrapana, na fugach widać pleśń. Lodówka w pokoju raz chłodzi raz nie. Widok z okna na wewnętrzny dziedziniec, można zajrzeć sąsiadom do pokoju, lub obserwować gości przy stolikach w restauracji na parterze. W oknach tylko ciężkie zasłony bez widocznych na zdjęciach firanek. Brudna klimatyzacja. Na korytarzach stara, wytarta wykładzina. Wyraźnie było słychać odgłosy z pokoju na wyższym piętrze (wibracje budzika w telefonie) oraz odgłos spływającej wody w rurach. Podobno jest jakiś widokowy taras, ale nie zostaliśmy o nim niestety poinformowani. Z jednej strony wydawać by się mogło, że hotel powinien być naprawdę luksusowy, ładne wyposażenie, ale z drugiej strony ewidentnie lata świetności i zadbania ma za sobą. Z uwagi na warunki nie przyjechałabym tutaj kolejny raz niestety.
