Confortable and pleasant but disappointed that the edge was taken off with the restaurant
Pros:

The hotel was very confortable. The rooms were clean and light. The breakfast was very good. À good choice and replacement products continuously. The staff are friendly and it is in a very peaceful and beautiful location

Cons:

I was disappointed with the restaurant. The first night it was excellent. Food very good and staff very helpful (with my 89 year old mum). Unfortunately the following two nights the food was not as good quality (apéritif went from home made cheese biscuits to peanuts to nothing) the food was cold the second night and needed to be taken back and the worst was that a group came in and my mum and I got requested to sit out by the entrance/bar/kitchen for the last two nights. Unfortunately my mum can’t do the stairs very well so the table at the ground level was the only place we could go. To be honest the group could have eaten where we were put and would have been amongst themselves and we would have benefitted from the atmosphère of the restaurant. Such a shame

Pros:

We really like Novotel hotels. If there is one in a city we are visiting, we usually try to stay there. This was exceptional. Really a beautiful property.
