Pros:

L’établissement était super, vraiment impeccable, rien à dire. Tout était très propre et bien entretenu. Les enfants étaient ravis, surtout grâce à la piscine et aux jeux à l’intérieur, qui ont été un vrai plus pour toute la famille. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci pour cet accueil !

FUNKY Hotel
Pros:

The receptionist 'Lucille' I think, was brilliant. She had a good conversation with me, asked me about my stay and where I had come from and really seemed interested. She then explained about the hotel, its facilities, what was nearby and then showed me where everything was.... quite simply one of the best Hotel welcomes that I have ever had.. so well done Lucille.
She was great.
The hotel, in my sons words is 'funky'. But in a good way. It is perfectly placed between Les Houches & Chamonix, which we have been to many times so know all of the pros and cons.
The pool is very nice and warm... there is a pool table and arcade games.. also a lovely bar & restaurant.
The room that we had was very nice although the wi-fi was a bit hit & miss.
Beds... well I will come onto them in the what I didnt like section. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Beds.... We booked a Twin Room for two adults as it was for myself and my son. Neither of us are very big... but the beds were so small and uncomfortable. Any taller than six feet and you will struggle to get a good nights sleep in one of them.
Certainly would not stay in one of these rooms again.

Pros:

We stayed at Big Sky Hotel & Spa for one night to celebrate my partner’s birthday with our two children, as we live nearby in Geneva. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but with a few disappointments that affected our experience.

The staff were kind and welcoming at check-in, and the overall vibe and design of the hotel are really lovely. We especially appreciated the open main area and the kids’ space, which is thoughtfully done and makes the hotel feel family-friendly.

That said, the main reason for the average rating is the pool. While it’s not cold, it is definitely not heated in any meaningful way. In winter, this makes it far from enjoyable, especially when staying with children. A “heated pool” should be comfortable to swim in year-round, and unfortunately this wasn’t the case.

Additionally, as we were traveling with a baby, we asked for a slightly later checkout, which was denied (understandable, and we accepted that). However, housekeeping knocked loudly on our door at 10:00 a.m.—a full hour before checkout—which woke our baby. That was frustrating and really took away from what was meant to be a relaxed, celebratory stay.

In summary, the hotel has great potential, a nice atmosphere, and friendly staff, but better communication and more accurate expectations around amenities—especially the pool—would significantly improve the experience.

Il est indiqué que le site une possibilité de finger food à tout heure, or arrivée à 22h30 pas de possibilité d'avoir autre chose à manger que des cacahuètes.

L'hôtel et ses équipements, ainsi que le personnel sont super ! La déco est parfaite dans le thème des années 70. Le lieu est hyper convivial 👍

Cons:

Nous avons seulement à déplorer le fait que le parking et l'accès ne soient pas déneigés ; nous n'avons pas pu sortir la voiture de l'enceinte de l'hôtel, même avec les chaussettes au neige sur les pneus 😬
