Staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was really good.
My room let down the hotel, there was stains on the carpet and walls. Hairs that didn't belong to me in the bathroom.

Weekend stay
Pros:

Only had a shower, i wanted a bath. Will have to request next time. Bed was ok and shower ok. Food ok.

According to the receptionist, I could have diner until 9pm at the restaurant. When I arrived at 8:30, it turned out there was no chef and the restaurant was closed. Had to take an Uber into town. Most inconvenient.
Corridors, staircases and lift could do with an update. Breakfast was ok, but not great.
There was a trickling rain shower and a bath without a bath plug.
I guess you get what you pay for…

The location was excellent, with convenient parking available on-site. Unfortunately, the room let the experience down. I was placed on the ground floor, with the corridor leading to the lift for the upper floors. As a result, I was disturbed by the sound of guests coming and going throughout the night until around 3:30am - which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The bed itself was clean, but not very comfortable.

Check was fine.
Then we went for a bite to eat and was told that the kitchen would be closed until 1930.
We went to the bar to wait, due to a private function, waited 10 minutes to eventu5get served, as the bar is tiny and only a few staff on.
Went to restaurant, sat down, no staff, eventually managed to ask a staff member to order food, as by this time the queue at the bar was now 20 people deep.
Food arrived, not what we ordered and missing items
Breakfast was meh, coffee machine not working, dirty cups and again no staff at all to assist.
When we checked out, no staff about, the hotel was like a ghost hotel, just us guests and no staff.
A very disappointing visit and stay at the Novotel.

The breakfast did not flow. Only 1Coffee pot had to wait for it to be topped up a 2nd would help. There was very little space by the toaster. Loved the tinned tomatoes

Good hotel.
Pros:

Staff helpful. Easy to find and local to CBS arena. Breakfast OK, not huge selection but enough to set you up.
Plenty of parking which was free.
Would stay again

Pros:

Don’t stay here on a Saturday night! Couples arguing outside at 3am. Kids running and screaming down the corridor at 1am then their mother chanting or singing down the corridor an hour later! Would not recommend
