Location and it was dog friendly
Looked nothing from the outside but once you went in it had all been refurbished. Rooms were modern and air con that worked
Nothing it was perfect for our 1 night stay and for the price we paid
The outside was lovely and so was the reception. It set high expectations for the room, which was booked for our 1st anniversary however it was beyond poor.
The room was horrendous. The toilet door did not shut which was very annoying. And the main door did not shut unless we used the force of our shoulders which have hurt us.
There was mould and cracks everywhere which made it very smelly and just not a nice atmosphere.
Location, availability of rooms, price, accommodating staff, cleanliness, rooms were as expected.
Good location
Room smelt of cigarettes, stains all over the floor, cups dirty one had a lipstick stain. no sound proofing at all. TV was not a smart TV as claimed and it was like watching football in the 90s. When we first arrived room next door had loud music on, reception did ask them to turn it down. In the night there was drunk idiots running up and down the hall shouting banging doors, unfortunately didn't get to sleep till 2am.
Friendly staff,easy to check in.
Whilst checking in noticed a large family ,with a very lively dog,owner was struggling to control.once I got to my room the noise was unbearable young child running with dog pounding the long corridor for hours ,not acceptable,have stayed before and given maximum scores,but this time dreadfully experience,did not no dogs were allowed,has put me off staying again.

The food was delicious. Overall an excellent stay!
The shower screen over that bath was not great, design issue. That was it.
The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough when asked. I was surprised that my room was cleaned every day. Facilities are good and while not high end they do the job.
