The hotel was in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. We had 2 dogs with us and staff were very accommodating. We sat in a quiet corner for breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Unfortunately the room doors were heavy and some were very noisy when people closed them! Perhaps, guests didn't always pay attention to closing their doors quietly.

It was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has recently undergone refurbishment and room felt brand new. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can't really fault for the price paid. Location was fine just off the M1
