Not a lot.
Arrived after a long journey to a reception full of wedding guests. Told the room wasn’t ready even though we had an email confirming it would be. Told us another room was ready but upgrade would cost £20. We had no choice but to pay as there was nowhere to sit in reception/at the bar.
Not much very disappointed.
The staff check in. The rooms. The breakfast.
The children's sofa bed has a curve. You can only use the pool for 30 mins and have to wait for a timed slot. Check in isn't until 1630. Parking at the hotel is expensive. Very negative experience!
The rooms had everything you could need. The staff were really helpful and took the time to greet you and ask about your day.
All items at breakfast time are clearly labelled with allergens. The choice is fantastic. We ate at the restaurant one evening and great choice including gluten free options. During the summer on alternate Wednesdays they have a bbq and a singer which has a great atmosphere.
The pool and sauna are a lovely addition and a bonus after a long day exploring the city. Important to book a slot for the pool each day.
Some areas are starting to show wear and tear. The bath is very slippery to get out of especially when using the shower and having to step out of the high edges. A bath mat or anti slip coating would help.
Breakfast was great, parking was good, staff is very friendly and the room is great. Wifi speed was fine. We like the location as it's on walking distance from the centre and easy to reach by car.
The shampoo/ soap bottles in the shower are hard to use. This time we came prepared and brought our own :-).
Food was superb. We will definitely stay here again
Perfecta ubicación ya que enseguida estás en el centro andando y a la vez estás en una zona tranquila al lado del rio.
Quizás diría que el tema de la bañera es algo incómodo, prefería plato ducha en el aseo. Pero tampoco llega a ser un problema.
