Everything was excellent. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond and the hotel was so clean and on trend. A lovely place to stay!
Nothing
The room was comfortable, check in and check out was easy, and they held our luggage after check out for us which was really useful and appreciated.
The pool and sauna (whilst nice) were only available for 30 minute slots; additionally, a staff member during our check in informed us that we needed to check out of using the pool after using it. When we did so, we were told by that same member of staff that they don't do that.
The breakfast not being complimentary was a bit disappointing but understandable, and the bed mattress was a bit stiff. We were allocated a disability room, despite not needing or wanting one as well. There were also no apparent radiators in our room, which made drying swimming costumes a bit difficult. The shower also couldn't be turned down in temperature.
Location was ideal food great staff very polite room great size tv a bit frustrating having to reset everytime tv was switched on
No gym electric tripping out numerous times in one hour decorating a bit untidy around the edges
It was very nice. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
No phones in the room. Everything had to be handled via WhatsApp. I didn’t care for that
Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable.
Only issue I had was the shower gel dispenser wasn't working.
Great location to park up for the day and night and walk into york
Heating was broke in our room, air-conditioning constantly blowing out cold air even when switched off. Had a oil heater put in a family room but didn't make much difference.

There could be enough teas/coffees in the room for a few days if you opt to not have your room cleaned.

The room was very clean and of a high standard of furniture and deco. The food in the restaurant was very good. We enjoyed using the pool and sauna. We found the location close to the sites of York.we difinitly be bavk again.
