Pros:

Everything very nice. location quiet, staff friendly and helpful, the bedroom spacious and very clean and the breakfast was excellent.

A cheap and cheerful accommodation suitable for a 1 night stay , pleasant staff, good breakfast , clean rooms.

Had a problem with room keys and getting into the rooms on a few occasions.
More tea/ coffee and biscuits would have been appreciated

Great customer service. Staff were exceptionally friendly.
Pros:

They were really helpful - sorted out a sofa bed for our room making sure that we could stay in comfort. Called to discuss beforehand. Really good service.

I have just received a fine through the post after charging my car in the car park of this hotel. I can't believe this is still happening after the amount of poor reviews you have received over the years. This is a clear scam if I have ever seen one and you are clearly trapping people. The response has been that there is signs and also that it mentions this on the Tesla app. Although this is true, this is one of the only charging spots in the UK where you need to register to prevent a charge. The won't do more to prevent more people getting caught out because of the amount of fines they are issuing.

Takes advantage of people’s disabilities for profit
Pros:

I used the Tesla charger at this Holiday Inn Express Preston South on the 26th. I went into reception at 19:00-19:08, told staff I was charging, and they said “no problem”. I have severe dyslexia and autism so I relied on that verbal permission and didn’t use the tablet.
I still received a £100 ParkingEye fine. The hotel has refused to cancel it or take any responsibility, saying it’s “ParkingEye’s problem”. Very poor treatment of a disabled guest who followed staff instructions. Would avoid at all costs - I don’t know why the staff have done this to me.
