Super stay and made very welcome excellent welcome gift for my dog too. The complimentary upgrade was a lovely bonus.

Would highly recommend.
Pros:

Perfect venue for my 80th BirthdayParty. I had 58 guests of which 54 people booked rooms.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night of our stay. The service was exceptional and the food was very good. We had a table of 10 guests in the restaurant.

One night stay, better than some other stays I’ve had in the area before.
Pros:

Room was spacious, well fitted out; bathroom nice size, pretty good breakfast, selection and quality.

Room was only cool 158
Noticed that the radiator was getting warm although there was an electrical heating appliance in the room , but being visually impaired I thought better not attempt to operate it.

Great location for our event and comfy bed!
Pros:

Comfortable bed and room.
Great selection of breakfast items on the buffet, including fresh fruit and yogurt as well as the usual cereals, cooked buffet and bakery items.
There is a pleasant leisure centre - pool, sauna and steam room all working, with loungers around the pool

Cons:

Unfortunately we found a hum of traffic most of the night, which disturbed my sleep, but not my partners- as there is a busy road behind the hotel. Our previous stays we have been in a different room, so I did not have this problem before.
There was no swimsuit dryer machine in the changing rooms - but there were at least bags we could use for out wet costumes so that helped when packing to leave.
We were attending a special dinner event and I was disappointed with my pre ordered choice of salmon - it was overcooked and lacking vegetables in comparison to the other options. However, the lady in charge did bring more vegetables when I requested - thank you! ( I did not comment on the salmon at the time, as the staff were trying to serve the other guests and everyone else on my table had chosen differently and were happy.)

Overall a pleasant stay, made so largely by lovely staff, comfortable chairs and breakfast.
Pros:

Nearly every member of staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. They were excellent.
The room was spotless.
Breakfast good.

Cons:

The evening restaurant menu was disappointing - nothing to write home about - very pub grub.
We wanted to sit in the lounge with a coffee and a brandy after dinner but when we approached the bar the staff member said no coffee was available as he had just cleaned the tubes. This was before 10 pm!! We went straight to bed - not very impressed.

Good location, great party venue, friendly staff and good food

Cons:

Wasn't aware could order from the kitchen at breakfast until too late so maybe staff could mention it when directing guests to tables
