Ambience at breakfast was very calm and plenty of food and staff very helpful
Good amount of grounds for walking the dog. The room was in a quiet spot which was good as prom night was on that night.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were polite and helpful.
Because we had the dog with us we couldn't take her in to breakfast with us (understandably) we had to use the bar area which was difficult having to go in one at a time whilst the other stayed with the dog then when we forgot something we were trailing back and forth the food was going cold and we were not eating at the same time. A bar menu for breakfast would work better or a continental breakfast set up in tge bar. Also the location of our room suited us but when the dog needed to go out it would have been good if there was an exit down there rather than having to walk down the corridor up the stairs and through reception to take her out.
Also when we have booked at other hotels when a large event has been booked that night ie.a wedding we have been forewarned that there may be more noise than usual we were disappointed that neither prior or at time of checking in this did not happen. As it happens we went out for the evening so only got caught up in the noise of the prom arrival.

Delux room to small, number of mugs/cups didn’t match number of occupants/ no AC.
Had to preorder evening meal a week in advance only to be told they didn’t have it on the night. Tables not being cleared and cinema room bins not cleared and F&B not restocked from of previous users
Would recommend anyone to book a stay at the hotel the all the staff were excellent room was serviced every day everywhere in the hotel was clean prices in the bar drinks and food were reasonably priced will be booking again
Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Rooms and facilities all within very reasonable distance. Good parking. Only criticism is that the rooms have no fridge, so that in the recent very hot spell, any drinks taken to your room are lukewarm very quickly. Just 3 miles from the town centre with excellent transport links. Really liked this hotel, and especially the staff.
On arrival I was welcomed by the friendly reception team who promptly contacted the spa to check me in.
Rally greeted me and was outstanding from there. Firstly confirmed my preferred treatments and allowed me to add another one as an extra treat, lunch order taken efficiently (with good choice available), explained where to find everything and she also did my treatments later on in the afternoon.

Lack of available Plug sockets or USB sockets, so would be ideal for some to be near the bedsides to enable charging of phones, etc, rather than the other side of the room.
Also, tea pots at breakfast time rather than having to visit the tea station every time you need a top-up.
Plenty of onsite parking. Liked the lay out of the hotel & the lovely grounds. Liked the option of eating in the bar rather than the restaurant.

Would've liked air conditioning in the room. A fan was provided but gave little relief from the extreme heat.
Just finished a spa weekend with my three daughters. The treatments were amazing. I had a back, face and neck massage from Olivia which was super relaxing. The rooms are lovely and the food and drink is great. Definitely returning.
