Loved the hotel
Pros:

A very good ambience with a really nice fragrance around the hotel. The food was excellent and so was the service. The room very clean and comfortable and very nice grounds. Only 3 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon which was very handy. The Fisherman's car park just down the road had a lovely 1.5 mile walk along the river into Stratford town.

Cons:

Trying to turn right out of the hotel drive as its a very busy road....

Very good stay
Pros:

Been here twice before absolutely lovely the rooms spotless clean everything on hand very well maintained hotel breath taking views scenery the only problem was my friend chair broke at dinner time she fell of her chair it happened to another lady as well on our coach we sat down for dinner and the chair came apart it wss soon rectified but it shouldnt have happened in the first place. Went by coach on mystery tour food and drink very good filling and lovely well presented. Breakfast very good plenty of tea and coffee i would like to have tea and coffee setved to me at dinner there was no drinks served to me or to any other guests maybe get guests tea coffee after dinner as well. Expensive to use the spa and swimming pool only spent one night here. Breakfast could have been a little better not much choice when we came down for breakfast had to wait for things to be done but overall a very good stay all staff pleasent and welcoming. I didn't like it when it was paynent on card only cashless hotel i like to know what am spending while im away. All payments done by debit card now in the hotel its a little inconvenience for me. Its very good hotel fantastic house keepers just a few things that needed to be done other wise it would have been 5 star if the seats didnt break and breakfast as well. Plesse do tea and coffee at dinner there was water on the table but i dont drink water

Overall nice, would visit again but could be some tweaks for the price of a stay
Pros:

Location and facilities were good. Plenty of seating indoors and outside with a nice bar area. Lots of activities and use of games room including pool table included. Swimming pool and sauna is always a nice addition. Big private carpark at no extra cost always great when staying away. Bar staff and waiters in particular were very polite and friendly. Room and communal areas were clean. Lots of choice for breakfast and refilled regularly so always fresh.

Cons:

Food and drinks options at the bar and restaurant were nice, and portions were good but on the expensive side. Had some issues with our key card stopping working on our 2nd day after our room was serviced though we had left the door card requesting it not to be, and some of our personal belongings had been tidied away unexpectedly making us think they were missing (luckily later found) it felt as though maybe there was confusion on how many days we were staying for. The manager was polite and apologetic, and said a note would be made on our checkout but nothing came of it. Swimming pool area could maybe do with some decor, such as a few palm plants as was a little basic to add to the spa feel, and was little surprised there was no jacuzzi area to the pool as it did have the sauna and steam rooms compared to similar hotels we have stayed at.

Look carefully at websites to establish what is or is not offered.
Pros:

The Stratford Manor hotel is in a lovely rural location with manicured gardens and is a four star establishment. We stayed overnight on our way to Cheshire and the weather was very hot! Sadly for a hotel of this standing there is no air conditioning. Our room no 108 was very small, had a fan, and we found ourselves with a disabled bathroom which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. We attempted to change, but informed they were full and that rooms are issued “randomly” whatever that means. I later saw a couple of coach loads of elderly chinese tourists who it seems are regular visitors so perhaps may give a clue. The receptionist Daisy a pleasant young lady offered us the use of her small portable air unit, gratefully accepted, and explained that the building was too old for air conditioning. We dined in the restaurant which was very mediocre however David who I think was in charge, was very helpful. The moral of this review is to firmly establish requirements before booking so perhaps we ourselves were not blameless.

Really enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Staff at the hotel are lovely. Emma checked us in and is a credit to the Stratford Manor Hotel. The man working at the bar on Sunday night was great too. The pool was very welcome on such a hot day. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Room was really clean and comfortable. Just wish we had aircon but we did have a tower fan in the room thankfully! I particularly like the car park as it’s so big and I’m fussy about where I park my car! Stratford Manor is always my hotel of choice when in the area. One thing I noticed when we walked into the hotel was the smell - it smelled beautiful!

Cons:

No aircon!

Rust en mooie uitstraling
Pros:
