A hotel with well situated location, comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Booking in was quick and easy, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I have an amputated leg, and the bathroom facilities worked well. The food for breakfast , lunch and dinner was of a high quality.

Cons:

For a hotel with 4 stars I was disappointed with the table settings which had old utensils, table mats and worst of all paper serviettes.

Cons:

Dirty shower (hairs from previous guest on the tiles) and sticky hairdryer. Towels were removed and not replaced. I left a packet of painkillers on the bed and it was gone when we returned to the room. Very expensive and totally not worth it.

Love this hotel-from amazing staff to the small touches they add: popcorn, sweets, ice tea and coffee available throughout the day-makes for a super special stay

Pros:

The room was very spacious and it was nice to have a sofa to sit on and read. We had a view of the pool which was nice. The lounge area was comfortable. All the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The swimming pool outside out room had a lot of insects in which put us off using it. I'm not sure what you can do about that though!

Wonderful Protea Hotel in George, one of only a few hotels in the area.
Pros:

Wonderful service provided by an excellent team. They served us well, from breakfast to service before supper. We liked the open feel and the view overlooking the golf course. We also enjoyed the working space provided, where we could catch up with work.

Cons:

The patios are all connected, so there is some limitation to a sense of privacy here. The facility was a bit expensive, but very good. Lots of tourists from Europe! So don't expect to find a spot at the pool, it's a bit small considering the size of the hotel.
