Bernerhof Swiss Quality Hotel

This is a great, classic Swiss mountain hotel in all of the best tradition. Wonderful and clean with a kind and attentive team. Loved using the sauna after a long day of hiking

The people were very friendly and helpful the place was clean they have a restaurant there which I ate at. The food was very good and the price was reasonable.Istayed there four days and would recommend the hotel very much

Hotel in good location with fantastic views and excellent service. However the bathroom was cramped and in serious need of an upgrade, which was a shame as this the hotel was excellent otherwise. The owners were always present and very welcoming and happy to assist on every point. Great hiking location away from the tourist hoards.

Close to train station and nearby cable cars. Nice views from rooms. We had a corner room so was able to get a great cross breeze

Très bon séjour au sein du Bernerhof Hôtel. L'emplacement est idéal avec une vue splendide.
La décoration est un peu vieillissante et la climatisation serait un vrai plus.
Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique.

Had the most wonderful stay at this lovely family hotel in Kandersteg. The owners and staff made sure we were well looked after. The room was spotlessly clean & comfortable and had the most amazing view with a balcony. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and service was outstanding. The birthday suprise was a very thoughtful touch too! Definitely recommend this super hotel.

Nice property, kind people, lovely place.

From check in to check out everything was perfect. I needed to do laundry and happiky accomplished it in the guest facility. I had a fabulous dinner with the owner Claudia and Gerhart making sure every detail was exceptional. My room was comfortable and clean, the TV had a few English channels. The plants throughout the hotel were gorgeous all tended to by Claudia. I was thrilled to arrive at this perfect hotel
And sad to depart.

The owner managers of this fine establishment are master and mistress of the craft of hospitality. What more can I say? Oh, and the food was very good. Go for half board, you don't need to leave the hotel to find better food!

Há poucos metros da estação de trem, de frente para as montanhas, você chega dentro de um sonho de hospedagem. Você sentirá que está dentro de um filme, é absolutamente encantador, além de estar há poucos metros do teleférico. O quarto é amplo e muito aconchegante. A comida do restaurante é fabulosa. Toalhas, travesseiros e edredons macios. E tudo isso com os melhores anfitriões do mundo. Você estará no coração dos Alpes no melhor hotel que poderia estar.

Un super séjour ! L'hôtel m'a fourni un lit parapluie sans que je l'ai demandé. La chambre était très grande et fonctionnelle avec une grande terasse extérieure vue sur les montagnes. Le restaurant de l'hôtel était très bien également : assiette végétarienne de saison délicieuse !
Petit déjeuner buffet avec pas mal de choix. Hôtel très bien placé avec un parking.
Le staff était très sympathique et aidant Je recommande et reviendrais :)

Utrolig bra service og veldig hyggelige ansatte! Veldig vakker beliggenhet og lett å ankomme, samt parkere med bil. Rett ved siden av gondolene opp til Oeschinensee lake. Kjempe god frokost med mye utvalg. Følte meg veldig tatt vare på hele tiden. Rommene var utrolig fine, hadde også egen balkong og kunne høre elven renne gjennom byen, men jeg likte ikke sengene. De var korte og dårlige puter. Veldig positivt at de er så serviceminded når det gjelder hunder. Terningkast 5.

Great food

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We were able to store our luggage before checkin and it was in our room when we returned. The room was small, but very clean and had a balcony with Mountain View’s. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had an excellent choice of items: several fresh breads, jams, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, meats, and oatmeal. They would also cook scrambled eggs and bacon on request. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They have a self service laundry which was handy. Very close to everything in town. No Air conditioning, as is usual in Switzerland, but with a fan and the door to the balcony slightly open, the room was comfortable at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Claudia welcomed me personally at dinner. Her and her partner were only too happy to help in any way possible. The rooms were clean & tidy, with balconies that offered unbeatable views of the mountains. They even made me some food for the road, as I had leave very early to catch a train. The hotel had a lovely, personal vibe.

Perfect location for the best sight in the region! Very clean but the best part is pay the extra for mountain view. The balcony with the view was the best view of any room we have ever experienced.
