Please note that the garage parking fee is only applicable from mid-December to the end of February. It is free during the rest of the year.

Guests traveling by car and using a GPS are advised to program the trip via Interlaken. The shorter route via Sigriswil includes a road which is closed in winter and is also not recommended in summer.

When booking a unit with breakfast included, please note that the use of the kitchenette in the apartments is not included in the rate. It can be arranged at an extra charge of CHF 40 per stay.

The greatest advantage of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. It is conveniently situated and provides easy access to the main attractions and points of interest in the area.
Despite some of the issues we experienced, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to two members of the reception team who made a genuinely positive impression on our family.
One of them showed a very thoughtful gesture toward our son. Upon learning that they shared the same birthday, he kindly gave our child a birthday gift. This was an incredibly warm and touching moment that made our son’s special day even more memorable, and we are truly grateful for his kindness.

I would also like to thank another young receptionist who spoke Polish fluently. He demonstrated exceptional professionalism, care, and attentiveness throughout our stay. He was always willing to help and made every effort to ensure that our family felt comfortable and well taken care of.

I would also like to acknowledge the manager who ultimately assisted us in resolving the issue with our room. He kindly arranged for us to receive the exact room category that I had booked through Booking.com and had expected from the beginning. Unfortunately, it is a pity that this situation was not resolved immediately upon our arrival. Nevertheless, I appreciate his efforts, professionalism, and willingness to find a satisfactory solution.

These employees stood out for their genuine hospitality and professionalism. Thanks to their kindness, attentiveness, and sincere willingness to help, we were left with pleasant memories of the hotel staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay did not meet our expectations.

First, the photographs presented on Booking.com do not accurately reflect the rooms and facilities that guests receive in reality. This created expectations that were not met upon arrival.

Guests should also be aware that even in rooms designed to accommodate three or more people, the hotel provides only one 0.5-liter bottle of water, which seems insufficient for the number of occupants.

Another disappointing aspect was the attitude of some reception staff. When I raised concerns about not receiving the room type and view that had been expected, the staff member handling the situation appeared dismissive, rolling her eyes and smirking during the conversation. Such behavior is unprofessional and does not reflect the level of customer service one would expect from a hotel of this category.

In addition, communication can be challenging, as the hotel staff appear to speak only German and English. This may create difficulties for international guests who do not speak either language.

The restaurant service was also below expectations. On several occasions, staff members did not pay sufficient attention to guests’ requests and preferences, which negatively affected the dining experience. It was particularly disappointing that some members of the restaurant staff seemed unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistakes and did not consider it necessary to apologize when errors occurred.

Furthermore, the breakfast selection was rather limited and repetitive, offering little variety from day to day.

Despite these shortcomings, the view from our room ultimately became the highlight of our stay. However, obtaining the promised view required considerable effort and lengthy discussions with the hotel staff. Unfortunately, apart from the location and the eventual room view, there was little that positively distinguished our overall experience at this hotel.
