Please note that the garage parking fee is only applicable from mid-December to the end of February. It is free during the rest of the year.

Guests traveling by car and using a GPS are advised to program the trip via Interlaken. The shorter route via Sigriswil includes a road which is closed in winter and is also not recommended in summer.

When booking a unit with breakfast included, please note that the use of the kitchenette in the apartments is not included in the rate. It can be arranged at an extra charge of CHF 40 per stay.

Pros:

Very welcoming team - They were very helpful and professional
The view was just wooow - outbreating
Swimming pool and Sonna were correct

Cons:

I cannot remember anything i could mention here except the fact that swiming pool was a pit cold.
Everything else was perfect.

Bad Service, Unfriendly Employees
Pros:

Very bad service. The staff at reception are always in a bad mood. We were waiting in the lobby and they complained because my son was watching a cartoon on the tablet without headphones, but the volume was not loud. At breakfast, the staff act like they are doing you a favor when you ask for more coffee. In general, terrible service. Would not recommend.

Christmas was lovely but the Hotel needs renovation and beware there are lots of families.
Pros:

The restaurant had exceptional food, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The small village was lovely, especially at Christmas. The Hotel did a fantastic job with Christmas decorations, especially at the entrance, where we had Gluhwein on Christmas eve and a fabulous buffet for dinner in the restaurant. The bar was also a great place to relax with fantastic views.

Cons:

It is very much a family hotel, so if you have dinner at the first seating, 6 to 8pm it is overrun with kids screaming and running about. Our room was small and in need of renovation, with holes and stains in the carpet. There is no daily housekeeping or replacement of provisions. The bathroom was extremely small and unsafe. The pool opens at 8pm so you cannot have an early morning swim, and it is than too busy with children. No adult hours.
There wasn't much to do, with the gondola out of action until January 1st and very little snow in December. Don't be fooled by their photos. We were told it rarely snows at the hotel by staff. We had to drive to Grindelwald. We asked why there wasn't any notice of the Gondola not working in English and the receptionist just pointed to a small sign in German and French. Not sure what she was on! Apparently, they had known back in November that the Neider horn was closed until January 1st. However, they had no such information on their website at the time when we were booking (November). We wouldn't have booked the hotel had we known. That was very poor and signage generally is also very poor. Could do a lot better.
It does not compare to a Hotel like The Cambrian at Adelboden, which is also 4 stars.

Très bel hôtel avec un emplacement et une vue spectaculaire. Chambre propre et de bonne grandeur avec balcon sur paysage panoramique. Personnel très courtois. Stationnement disponible sur place. Bon petit-déjeuner sur place. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel.

Tapis dans la chambre.
