Pros:

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil du personnel, toujours souriant, professionnel et à l’écoute.
L’emplacement est très agréable, au cœur d’un environnement verdoyant entouré de forêt, propice à la détente.
L’accès direct à la piscine thermale sans avoir à sortir de l’hôtel est un véritable atout. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le massage, la praticienne était attentive et très professionnelle.
Enfin, le petit déjeuner buffet, varié et de qualité, dégusté sur une magnifique terrasse, a été pour nous le point fort de notre séjour.

Cons:

La restauration nous a semblé trop onéreuse au regard de la qualité proposée, ce qui est regrettable pour un établissement de ce standing. Par ailleurs, la piscine était souvent très bruyante en raison de l’accès accordé aux personnes extérieurs à l’hôtel, ce qui réduit sensiblement la sensation de calme et de détente attendue dans ce type d’établissement.

Mangelhafte Sauberkeit
Pros:

- Das Personal war freundlich & hat sich spührbar bemüht.
- Wir konnten aufgrung mangelhafter Reinigung das Zimmer nach dem Check-in wechseln.
- Zugang zu Therme & Therme

Cons:

- Die Teppichböden waren in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und wirkten extrem verschmutzt.
- Dass die Vanity Kits aus ökologischen Gründen nicht nach jedem Gast vollständig ersetzt werden, ist grundsätzlich nachvollziehbar. Allerdings scheint die Kontrolle der Inhalte unzureichend zu sein: Vor unserem Zimmerwechsel befand sich in der Schachtel lediglich eine bereits benutzte Nagelfeile. Im neuen Zimmer waren die Wattepads bereits aufgerissen. Ob weitere Artikel fehlten, haben wir nicht mehr überprüft. Falls eine vollständige Kontrolle nicht gewährleistet werden kann, wäre eine offene Präsentation der Utensilien, beispielsweise in einer Schale, hygienischer, transparenter und für die Gäste besser nachvollziehbar.
- Bereits beim Check-in wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, die Fenster wegen eines bekannten Käferproblems möglichst nicht zu öffnen. Da keine Fliegengitter vorhanden waren, war regelmäßiges Lüften praktisch unmöglich. Die Folge waren eine sehr trockene Raumluft und entsprechendes Unwohlsein. Da das Problem offenbar bekannt ist, sollten dringend Fliegengitter nachgerüstet werden.
- Beim Frühstück haben wir einen hygienisch bedenklichen Vorgang beobachtet: Ein Mitarbeiter wischte zunächst die Buffet-Theke und anschließend mit demselben Lappen den Boden. Danach wurde der Lappen wieder für die weitere Nutzung zurückgelegt. Ein solcher Umgang mit Reinigungstüchern ist aus hygienischer Sicht nicht akzeptabel.
- Auch im neuen Zimmer befand sich ein auffälliger Fleck auf der Bettdecke, was den Eindruck mangelnder Sauberkeit zusätzlich verstärkte.
- Im Badezimmer war die Halterung des WC-Deckels stark verschmutzt und offensichtlich nicht gründlich gereinigt worden.

Insgesamt hinterließen die zahlreichen Sauberkeits- und Hygienemängel einen deutlich negativen Eindruck und entsprachen nicht den Erwartungen an ein Hotel dieser Kategorie.

Das beste Hotel mit Zugang zu einer Therme.
Pros:

Schöner Ausblick vom Zimmerfenster in den Wald. Das Hotel ist bestens für Autofahrer gelegen, die einen Ausflug nach Freiburg, ins Glottertal oder den Schwarzwald unternehmen wollen. Aber genauso optimal für Ausflüge ins Elsass oder die Basler Kunstmuseen.

Nett und gut gelegen. Leider stören uns die schlechten Betten sehr.
Pros:

Die ruhige Lage und der direkte Zugang zur Therme. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und es lässt sich dort verweilen.

Cons:

Es gab hunderte von Käfern an den Fenstern/Wand und durch das Lüften auch Käfer in einem unserer gebuchten Zimmer. Als ich dies gemeldet habe, wurde ich direkt angesprochen, ob die Räumlichkeiten keine Fliegengitter hätten… somit ist das Problem bekannt, wird aber nicht angegangen. Das Lüften ist dadurch unmöglich + es gibt keine klimatisierten Zimmer.

Als zweiten Punkt muss ich anbringen, das die Betten (Matratze wie auch Bettzeug) in allen Zimmern die wir bisher hatten zum fürchten schlecht sind.

Man möchte nach der Therme relaxed zurück aufs Zimmer und muss sich mit der Schaumstoff-Matratze quälen. Das Hotel wäre wirklich in allem empfehlenswert, sobald diese Punkte behoben sind.

Schöne Auszeit
Pros:

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Alles ist frisch und wird nachgelegt. Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet. Das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Zur Therme kommt man durch einen eigenen Zugang.

Das Angebot Preis Leistung.
Personal sympathisch und korrekt.
Schöne Atmosphäre von Dekoration und wunderschön in der Natur und doch nah an die Freiburger Stadt. Lage super.

Cons:

Essen Auswahl betreffend das Abendessen.
Positive Energie und Humor von personal allgemein hat uns gefehlt. Das Lächeln und die Wärme.

Relaxing spa hotel in the black forest
Pros:

Very nice hotel in the Black Forest. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast had lots of great options, staff were all very friendly and helpful. The access to the spa worked well. Gym was basic but a nice addition.

Cons:

The beds were a little hard, also pillows could have been better (we had to request some different ones). The room we booked was a bit small and there was no way to adjust the heat so we had to ask for a fan. Also the towels were very thin and small, I would have expected a bit more for this quality of hotel.
