Great stay at Novotel Saint Avold
Pros:

We enjoyed the pool a lot. Breakfast and dinner were great.

Cons:

Temperature control of the room was not working or disabled. Reception said they were coming to look at it but no one came and there was no one at the reception when I checked later.

Dejligt ophold, kommer gerne igen.
Pros:

Vi havde tre overnatninger med halvpension. Fin morgenbuffet og et okay udvalg af ala carte til aften. Vi var tilfredse med opholdet. Lækkert at man kan tage alt det afkølede vand man har brug for. Fin pool til de varme dage. God seng. Bordfodbold.

Cons:

Der er ikke meget plads på værelset, når man bor 4. Der var ikke plads til at gå mellem sengene. Komforten i sovesofaen kunne nok være bedre.

Pros:

De ruimte van de kamer (3 pers), maar niet de ruimte om het bed. Tuin rondom is erg fijn, bos nabij ook, zeker met een hond.

Cons:

Smalle ruimte naast het bed, geen 2e stoel.

piscine extérieure . Personnel charmant Système de mise à l'eau pour handicapé dans la piscine. Bar agréable. Bouilloire dans la chambre

Cons:

Aucune sécurité à la porte de la piscine qui ne ferme même pas. Ceci est rigoureusement interdit. Frigo de la chambre presque inefficace (aucun réglage possible). Deux faisceaux de Fils électriques baladeurs sortant du miroir salle d'eau (totalement hors norme) Climatisation pas très efficace... Pas de peignoir ni de sandales fournis pour aller à la piscine, pédiluve en panne...

A passable bed for the night en route to Calais

Cons:

No-one at Reception when we arrived. The room we were allocated was upstairs. We asked if there was a lift. The Male Receptionist led us to the lift, however, it was 'miles' away, down a long corridor. We both have medical issues that make walking and climbing stairs difficult. We shouted after the Receptionist, who was way in front of us, and asked if there wasn't a room on the ground floor. He then turned around and opened the first room there was on the ground floor right next to Reception! Why on earth couldn't we have been allocated that room initially, instead of one upstairs? Rooms a bit out-dated, swimming pool was not clean and very untidy surroundings.
